Oddschecker.com having checked out all the betting sites,...and have listed the top seven teams for winning Division Two next season. 1.........Portsmouth..........................5-1 odds. 2/3.....Luton & Doncaster............10-1 4/5.....Blackpool & Colchester.....12-1 6........Cambridge...........................14-1 7........Plymouth A..........................16-1 As always Portsmouth to win the league.....they'll be right sometime.
To be fair they should win it so this time the betting isn't that stupid. Why Luton would be second favourites I have no idea. I would say that 16/1 for Argyle was about right and if I were to have a punt it would only be to expect a place rather than win it. That's with the tints off. With them on sell your house and screw the bookies for every penny.........

There must be some anoraks out there if somebody bothers to do a chart on this. It means what exactly to the chances of ones club in the next season? Be honest plym do you really care where they sit in this chart.
It shows that over the last 50 years we our averaging coming 6th in Division one.....the last six years must of dropped us down that pyramid by quite a few places.....ok,ok so I'm an anorak, but statistics have always interested me....until the mid-nineties we had never been in the bottom division...so we could have been at that time a lower Championship club on average. Ps.....yes I'm a sucker for things like this.....gets the old grey cells working....a necessary thing when your 77.....remember the sign that used to be in your local corner shop years back.....USE IT OR LOSE IT.....come on sensible don't end up an old senile doddering green......at least BC keeps his marbles working by playing with the bears at weekends..............
I've never been a fan plym. I remember having one particular conversation with my boss once about debt owed to PCC in rent arrears. At a meeting he produced this chart showing that statistically arrears went up at certain times and decided that we should change our working practice across the board to combat this. I pointed out to him that my figures bucked the trend and had reduced considerably due to the method I was taking. No this was not acceptable and we ALL had to adopt this new way of approaching things. I did and the debt went up. When I pointed this out to him and said I wanted to go back to previous he could not see that statistics were not the be all and end all for everyone. In many other ways you can adapt the argument to suit the ends you need using this method. There are lies, damned lies and statistics..... I don't think having an avertion for stats will cause me senility either. Watching paint dry or Argyle's transfer dealings might however...
Bears did you mention Bears...yep they are still there..having their Pic- nic. Saw a pair at the lake they were catching more fish than me..typical.
