    Mad bartard. I saw got....

At 6am. On way to work now....

    On top gear

The guy in the focus... British press are all over him cos he's on of their own.. bigging him up... he was just ok.. to smiley for no reason.

Some called the London thing exciting.
I disagree. It was just the usual. Not sure if this one was the cenotaph disrespect and it got cut or no?

Anyway it was trying for funny but failed just didn't raise a chuckle.

The interview was.. 15? Mins.. it's killing show

Too many hosts. Just get rid of 3. Start with Schmitt. If I hear her brag once more..... drop evans and one of the two.

Jordan might have comedy value as rich old tosser character. Keep joey and whichever of the two no names tests best with viewers. Use as a straight guy.

Next week is a top gear race. A train v car. Very original.

I am Arya Stark of Winterfell. And I'm going home. ****ing epic ending, especially with him smiling. I think he'll go with her.

    Great episode!

some might be disappointed in this episode. I am not.

    I thought

    1. The Hound detail funny. Quite good and I suppose plausible he catches up to a few of them.

    2. River run was disappointing. They hinted at pod getting much worse than a slap in the chops. The lack of any on camera fighting here was weak but I'd expected a political outcome. There is however no possible way any Tully remnants can March from there to Winterfell to be realistic.

    3. Blondie flies in. Sort of inevitable in Meereen but well.....it ties up the story but sets up a battle we don't actually want.it's obvious she takes these ships and slaughters the slavers.

    4. Arya. Slightly disappointed in the ending. There was a fight there to be seen and I know they made it dark but I'd expected it when she found d needle but I just felt the waif v Arya should have been onscreen ending... chase and her getting succor from the actress.. I'd swap that for a sword fight. Chase was ok I suppose...

    4. The mountain. Huge let down they cut camera as he ripped the guys face off.. I was expected a more epic slaughtering than just one guy.. I mean come on.. the announcement thereafter of no trial by combat after one guy....well I was left wanting more but the continuation of Cersei isolation makes sense.

Got to disagree here, thought it was in large parts ****e, naff and totally disappointing. Blackfish 'dies' in a battle at Riverrun ... let's not show it. Arya in a seminal moment kills the waif and takes her face off after seasons of build up ... let's not show it. Cersei lets her zombie knight lose on the cult ... let's tease carnage in the trailer but let's not show it. Danaerys arrives back in the city on a dragon that could just as well burn all the ships attacking the place ... nah, let's not show it or do that. Very weak effort here

That's not to say there wasn't anything enjoyable. Liked the scene with Bron and Pod, fun stuff there, room for a class spinoff here with plenty of bants about Pods 'gift' and Bron teaching him to fight dirty. The Hound hacking those Brothers then meeting up with Beric and doing the hanging and having that exchange around the fire was about the best bit of the episode. But again, Cleganebow ... let's not do it. Then Brienne meeting up with Jaime was a nice moment, and I enjoyed the tension in Jaime's scene with Edmure.

This season started very strong but has gradually been on the slide getting worse and worse, the last 3 or 4 episodes have gone from good to ok/average to poor. I'm sure the final two episodes will turn it around and I will watch them as I committed to the season but I'm thinking I'm done with the show tbh as every season is the same format ... good opening and followup rounding off last season's cliffhanger or revelatory events and setting up this season ... filler filler filler filler filler filler ... big episode ... conclusion tying up and setting the next cliffhanger.

I'm sure you'll disagree but that's simply my perspective. Show could be so much better in many departments

Haha, woke and thought would have a look if it was around and it were

There's nothing special about this Top Gear in any way, episode two is still far and away the best one

Seems to me like they are just trying loads of **** and seeing what sticks and what doesn't having had no real idea how to carry on with it after the original trio left, loads of different presenters, different format and segments week to week

Agree on the interview and celeb in race car section. I think showing their worst and best car is fun and interesting, but the pacing is turgid and they should go back to having them race on the normal track not this rally cross ****e, who gives a **** I just want to see cars going fast on tarmac

the thought has struck me they have just gathered up many faces and are just packing it in to see what works yes... the star interview section is geting.. longer... and longer... and longer... and killing the show.

I dunno... i think theres a fair few "journos" who are backing thier own kind with the two no names yesterday. they were ok.

I had a thought that they've not really done a proper challenge where some of this lot had to actually work together yet. nothing to bond them and it shows. Even the south Africa bit was them on their own licking up to the "stars" more than turely them together.

its lost that easy interplay and what most watched it for.

I agree with the don't show this stuff bit... that was disappointing each of those was vital moments. there was enugh time in the fluff especially the start where the actress waffled her lines again and in the river run stuff between breiene and jamie that all three moments coud have been done. a gorefest was called for

My thing on riverrun was that... well.... blackfish saves the lot of them and leads form for what 3 years and then suddenly this tool just turns on him when the clown saunters up and demands entry... It doesn't add up politically. However I felt it was the most likely outcome once i saw briene in trailers.

Was was mostly expecting finally the "undead" lady stoneheart bit to come up but it seems its not going to. She was meant to be in the books about and i thought oh pod gets grabbed... could this be it.

Yeah, it's a 'fun' (debatable, but I mean as in more emphasis on fluff, shiny stuff and celebs than serious journalism and reviewing) motoring magazine show now rather than the 'car bros on tour' crossed with some light journalism that Clarkson and co. brought to it. You can't buy that relationship. Their new show will continue that with the trips and challenges I'd imagine whilst Top Gear will pursue that entertainment/variety format, wouldn't be surprised if they end up with a house band or musical guests as well and that

it'll be down to the sales globally i think. its huge for bbc.

If it tanks globally **** will hit fan.

leblanc was picked for us and global.. there must be a huge following in Germany cos schmitt is extremely unlikable here... here "joke" in germany went down like a lead balloon in studio and on tv

Its core British fans are people who didn't ever want top gear i to ned and fifth gear had 2 of their favorites on it.. tiff needel is still on it and quinten spiv Wilson. If clarkson had brought tiff back in to top gear ii everyone would have been dead chuffed i think.

Top gear ii was we want it back but it was independently produced on a wing and prayer and took off and bbc ended up buying it off clarkson and whilman.

the fact is they've had a group of no brains in there putting top gear iii together, had no idead what to go for so ended up with.... 7? hosts? that should tell us all we need to know. no show needs that, none.... especially not top gear.

The show’s lowest overnight audience is understood to be the 2.362 million who watched the sixth episode of the second Clarkson series on 15 June 2003, according to one industry source.

The biggest two problems still persist.

    1. Chris Evans

Every review of room is excellent but i suspect a frame of mind is required for this i cannot muster with having kids

Outcast is meant to be ok.

I did see "the boss" what a god awful pile of poo. It was a brownie point choice

they try so hard at humour but spontaneity is dead. like i could see last year of top gear with Clarkson was extremely heavily scripted but the relationships carried it.

they need to get through the last 3 and go back to drawing board.

It's not really about the abduction or sexual abuse..it's much more focus on the mother son relation "despite" the situation. You don't see any raping just indicated it's happening off screen.

The visual set up and style is very very clever.

Actors are brilliant. It's not as harrowing to watch as say Schindlers etc...

Didn't mind GoT...yes the offscreen events was disappointing for a show that hasn't shied away from violence before....

It's a bit strange given the hound well.... his bits were explicit enough

It's like they've teased the mountain all series then let fans down.. one can only lynch assume he will have to do something in last episode.

I think that wildfire scene we saw with Bran will have something to do with Cersei. She's lost now and her only other option is to blow every ****er to smithereens.

    Dunno about that.

I honestly think the entire Cersei line boils down to Arya stabby stabby...
