Sterling out and Milner in. — Craig Kendall (@craigsteruk) June 11, 2016 How much did #LFC get for Sterling #ENG — Chris (@Redlegend68) June 11, 2016 He's only 21, so Sterling will get better, but he needs to work on his end product. Hasn't progressed that much since he left LFC. #ENGRUS — Cameron (@Klopptastic) June 11, 2016 ...and then you remember LFC got £50,000,000 for sterling! The stick he's getting there is mild. With Lallana and Sterling on the pitch it is a problem though both will get into goal scoring positions and both can't hit a barn door, you have to take chances at internationl level, they don't come around as often as in club games.
Most valid tweet there is about how we sold him at the right time, how much would City get for him now £30mill maybe not even that, was a good decision to get rid. As a LFC fan it is pretty funny and satisfying to see him stalling given how he weaselled his way out and those tweets above are very restrained and sensible so fair enough really, the ones giving him proper abuse still are just sad though, get over it
Sterling made the greatest mistake of his life by going to City. Partly his advisers are to blame too. Anyway he had the league cup medal to show for it.
satisfying.... but not as satisfying as the instant Torres decline when he went to the chavs for 50m still warms my loins that
United fans too Funny, at the WC it was Roy, now it's the player seeing as he plays for City. And to read some saying he would have developed more under Rodgers and Klopp.
Thought Lallana played well but he ALWAYS misses sitters (as does Sterling). Can't stand Lil' Rim, but he's dead to me except when we play City. Really don't give a hoot how he plays for Engerland.
Just off the top of my head, I've heard moans about Sterling from Liverpool, Chelsea, Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Leicester, Everton, Man Utd, Stags, Villa, Arsenal, WBA, Spurs, Notts County, etc fans and not talking about on the Internet or social media either.
