A wasted two points last night.

Plus points were the full of the full backs - Rose was MOM in my opinion. I also thought Dier was decent and the Granny Basher didn't do too bad dropped deep, either. Kane will play better than that, hopefully against Wales.

How bad was Sterling? No composure and no final ball. £49m for pace <doh> As I said on Twitter last night, has Sterling got the same agent as Simon Makienok?

Talk on Twitter was that Sterling was England's version of the Harriotts... not sure that is fair on the Harriotts

When England were one up and Sterling was free running into the Russia box then, rather than crossing it, he accidently kicked the ball out for a goalkick with his wrong foot..... priceless <laugh>

Hopefully Belgium will get hammered in all 3 games and end up with nul points.

A neutral view-I couldn't believe the result. England were so far ahead in the quality of their play for practically the whole game. Looking at Russia I thought I'd found a team almost as bad as Scotland. So why the ITV panel refused to analyse why England couldn't win was cheating the viewer. If Hodgson gets the credit for a good performance they have to discuss how he snatched a draw from the jaws of victory. I was hoping Sturridge or even Rashford would come on, since they are England's two most composed finishers, which the front 3 weren't. Looking forward to a stress-free Euro's now.

The one thing you can always guarantee at big footballing events is that ITV's football coverage will be sh1t <cheers>

That have actually managed to dumb it down even further if that was possible, by replacing Adrian Chiles/Andy Townsend with Peter Crouch (inarticulate) and Glenn Hoddle ("I never said them things") - and of course everyone's favourite DJ Spoony, Ian Wright, who was wearing what looked like a burkha. You would be hard pressed to put together a more inane and inarticulate line up.

Why is Russia even allowed to play in the Euros? It is a backward and violent country, with a huge football hooliganism problem. Not only that, its "Government" refuses to recognise half the countries in Europe, it is opposed to Europe in many other ways....and it has no democracy of its own.

Only in the vaults of Sepp Blatter's safe deposit boxes can be found the real reasons why Russia is allowed to participate in these events, let alone host the next one.

Too many teams there, it's lowered the quality. All about money I know, but it's too big.

Agreed. Charlton would give Northern Ireland a game. Wasn't impressed with Turkey, Wales or Albania either.

Looking forward to Italy thrashing the Belgians tonight, especially for my Italian grandfather. Anyone spotted the St. George's flag with Roland Out on it yet?

The only thing this festival of football is missing is lots of men in tartan skirts wearing ginger wigs, p1ssed by 7am and asking "can yae spare 10p foe a cuppa tea?"

The Euro's might be big, but they're not big enough for Scotland to qualify. You'd have to let everyone in for that. Apart from that, the Scots fans make friends wherever they go, similar to the Irish. It's much more enjoyable, I can recommend it.

Why make friends with people?.... when the alternative is that you can kick the sh1te out of them?

The British Empire wasn't built on making friends with people <ok>

The problem in the stadium was a premedited assault by the Russians, but there has also been hooliganism by English fans elsewhere. They should take a leaf out of English rugby or cricket fans who like a good drink but are good natured with it.

    One person eloquently put it:
"They couldn't stop football fans, how they hell are they supposed to stop ISIS?"
