Yes, we will. We'll take our foot off the pedal so as not to humiliate them. <laugh>

I think if you'd played us in the first game it would have been a different story, however you won the last game with high energy, gusto and adrenalin pumping, but watching it as a neutral (ish - I wanted you to win), I didn't think there was much quality really. If England play as we did the other night with a better finish, it will be 3 or 4.

Totally agree with this, and in the light of the Lying Dutchman's exodus, I am starting to see how little he has done this with us.
Not knocking the success, and of course it's hard to build a decent team from the dregs of the youth we have left after MoPo's starlets have all buggered off (how I wish this would happen to Spurs now...), but wouldn't it be nice to have both success and home-grown first teamers.
    Interesting times ahead I suppose!

Think wales have been playing quite well, and that was without a couple of first teamers. Start with Robson-Kanu and Ledley and they will be a whole different prospect, plus the Bale factor.

Recon England will win if we can start finishing, but recon wales might get 1 or 2 as well.

Still think Bertrand would be better over Rose, and maybe even Clyne should be first choice

I don't know what the behaviour of the England fans was like inside and around the stadium, but tickets are purchased by bone fida members of the England club (please correct me if I am wrong) then I would imagine they behaved well. What is less than satisfactory is that of fans hurling bottles at the police and others, even if it provoked as some have alleged. If this is the case, then the FA have a duty to recompense the French authorities for the damage to businesses and the clear-up operation.

Bertrand should play so he can take corners, as he is as good as Rose as a left back. Don't think Rose had a particularly great game either.

He would have out jumped Berezutski as well for the Russia goal.

    Not biased at all.

Got back from Marseilles last night.
Just been reading what others have posted and the news coverage.
From my opinion the majority of fans from both sides were fine, unfortunately it was ruined by idiots on both sides. Some English were not even going to the game and were merely in France looking for trouble. The thing that did amaze me was what happened at the stadium. Hundreds of riot police outside, none in the stadium. Russian fan set off two flares in the Russian end and just held them for 5 minutes, no-one stopped him. Another set off a firework into the sky and one set off a loud bang which started the rush on the family section. During all of this no riot police came inside. 150 Russian fans rushed the England end and then they were allowed to leave with no-one arrested. Upon leaving the stadium and walking to the metro, the riot police still stood in the same place as before the game. I go to a lot of England away games and the worry is that this game will be remembered during the Russian world cup in two years time.

...And the French-loving Uefa come out and threaten Russia and England with expulsion, but not France, despite the fact that French hooligan groups travelled from all over the country to join in the fighting in Marseille. AND there was the incident in Nice where French thugs attacked N.Irish and Polish fans.

I don't blame the Russians. They are just neanderthal twats who don't know any better. But the French authorities need to be hung out to dry for all this. The lack of stadium security was incredible.

    Glad you escaped unharmed Sooty.

England have two excellent left backs. To be fair to Danny Rose, he's come on loads since pochettino has been coaching him.

Yep Rose has really improved, but if it solves the problem of Kane taking corners, even taking our Saints tinted spectacles off we can see it would benefit England.

Although I'm not sure if Bert is fit or not.
