I don't feel inclined to sing WW2 songs all seems a bit immature to me but I'm sure Celtic and Rangers supporters sing a lot worse. I'm just surprised the WW2 songs caused offence, whereas I would be inclined to say the French youth were going to dish out a good kicking regardless of what was sung. Not sure why you Nigels can't grasp that what happens in a policed football stadium in the UK is pretty different from being in a public place, in another country, goading the locals and other fans by singing song about WW2. You're in a different country with a different culture and where sensitivities relating to the World Wars WILL be different from the one in the UK. Doesn't matter whether it's a Tim or a Hun telling you this, the point still stands: go to an international football tournament, be disrespectful to the locals, and expect there to be trouble.
