I would imagine the delay is on account of the sponsor. A charity and a proper badge would see me buy the shirt but i reckon the badge will stay the same this year regardless of the owner. We might well end up changing badges half way through like everton did a couple of years back if the new owners want some quick browny points. Umbro did say when we signed with them that we'd have a unique kit every season (no templates) so looking at other for clues doesnt really help. The coordinates thing is the only consistent design feature across this seasons shirts.
Given our team colour, and the claim of each kit being unique, it seems stupid to have an away kit as opposed to a second kit, especially as it has more chance of clashing.
The shirts are already done, there definitely won't be any change of badge this season, hopefully we'll have a new owner who'll address it for the following season.
I heard that they were considering sponsoring a team near London. They would have Siemens Staines on the shirt.
Embarrassing why? We would be promoting Yorkshire Tourism which is a darn sight better than a ****ing bookie. It will of course be down to who pays the biggest wad of cash which alas I fear will not be Flamingoland.
Because it's a **** logo. Bruce stands on the touchline in his jacket with the logo on the back and he looks like he's waiting to check kids are tall enough to get on the rides.
At least he's not encouraging them to ****ing gamble away their hard earn ****ing cash. Is that your new occupation OLM bookmaker?
Bookies don't force you to gamble away your money, just as pubs don't make people alcoholics and bakeries don't make people obese.
I think the company like flamingo land should get to sponsor teams in the prem why should they sponsor in the championship when others are not interested at all till we get to the prem, flamingo land deserve the opportunity they sponsored us in the lower league so let them have their day.
Sadly, the world can't be run solely for the benefit of stupid people, they'll just have to muddle by as best they can.
