Yeah- ridiculous rule. Kind of makes the 3 compounds almost pointless. You should just choose your two.
Vettel pitting. *Shakes head* Cannot believe how inept Merc competitors are. Ferrari becoming the new Williams.
No one knows haha I thought that there's only one compound they have to use at each GP. In this case softs? (well softs and any other) But now I'm doubting myself.
Pirelli Motorsport tweeted this earlier... "More and more drivers onto the soft tyre now: all drivers have to run the soft tyre at some point in the race #canadiangp" 6:30 p.m. - 12 June 2016
Formula1.com stated back in Feb 'Teams must also have at least two sets of softs in reserve for the race, and must use at least one of them.' So I guess you are correct that Softs are the Mandatory tyre. Sounds like Nico has issues.....
Really saddens me that we have Alonso trying to push that Honda around and is powerless to do a thing. The sport is poorer for a woeful McLaren isn't it, regardless of whether you like them or their drivers. On a side note, Rosberg in traffic is poor.
