From what I read and understood Uefa can't do anything about trouble outside the ground as it's outside their remit so basically we appear to be being charged/warned for getting ran at and battered by a load of Russian nutters. That seems about right.

The statement is typical political correctness, we will have to see what action is taken before making our own. For me I would not be adverse to us pulling out of these French Farces. Its obvious to all that we will never host a tournament, so lets see if we can survive without them. Yes even if it means scrapping the FA.
I've always laughed off suggestions of leaving Uefa but I am now warming to the idea. Missing out on 18 months of qualifying games against sh!t opposition and then organising our own mini world cup tournament between Euros and world cups and inviting teams from south America, Africa and Europe.
