The Suning group bought Inter last week. Inter are crippled by FFP and basically can't buy anyone or risk expulsion from Europe. So to get round this Jiangsu Suning are now expected to buy ****loads of players - starting with Yaya Toure - and loan then to Inter for free. It's really not worth the paper it's written on.
Depends which league you are in. In the Premier League you can have two long term domestic loans and as many foreign ones as you like. Of course if they are over twenty one they must be registered and count towards your 25 man squad.
Oh sorry, I thought this was a football forum to discuss football news, opinions and suchlike. If you don't think it's of interest, then don't reply
Yeah that's what I thought. And didn't Watford have almost a full team of loans (not all playing obvs) when in the championship?
Yes they did because the quota didn't include foreign loans in the Championship, you could have as many as you liked. They've now changed the rules so that foreign loans now count towards the quota. It didn't matter anyway as the Pozzo family just sold their players between clubs.
The wider problem here is that people are able to own more than one football club, which is a total ****ing joke. How long before some super rich consortium ends up owning the top club in each country? What a farce that would be
