Impressive laps from Vettel and Riccardo. Hamilton opened the door for Rosberg, but once again he failed to take advantage.
I hope that the Ferrari and red bulls can keep up with the Mercs today. The thing that worries me is the Ferraris tyre heat up. It was a problem for them in qualifying until yesterday and it seems fixed at a cold track. Are they going to muller their tyres today?
Nothing happened, as press conferences go it was pretty dire. It was just someone chose this as their resting face...
Hamilton is carrying a lot of wing perhaps? Hoping to do a Vettel cira 2011-13 and run away in the opening laps from any tow.
It's the traditional F1 driver "2nd place face". It's an inside joke we are not aware of. Amazing they can keep it going without bursting into laughter.
Spped traps are bad for McLaren, but Alonso in the top ten does lend some credit to them saying they have a decent chassis, unless they are running a lot of wing to counter a bad chassis and the Honda is not as bad as made out this year? Do we believe McLaren, or Honda!?
Who has what left. It's still looking touch and go on the weather, with a damp but not full wet start looking likely. please log in to view this image
It is interesting that McHonda is at the bottom of the speed trap times. McHonda have said that the new turbo wouldn't give them more power but more harvesting during the race. So maybe their race pace will improve. Must admit I am surprised that Honda haven't moved on more this year.OK so they are more reliable and they do have more power but they are/were having harvesting issues. I would be surprised if Honda was that down on power this year after all the data they have from last year. So my guess is McLarens chassis is not as good as they say.
Would be epic if we get mixed conditions today and really get the front 6 fighting and scrapping away. Anyone got a good hourly forecast??
