The way the England fans are behaving i would not blame the organizers to throw England out of the tournament and nobody can complain....Only 3 days this tournament has been on and only English fans have been causing chaos every single day ..They should be ashamed of themselves and the quicker England are sent home the better it will be for everyone, they don't deserve to qualify for anything with fans like that....
..I'd have backed him to score from both Lallana chances in the first half ..it's what he has done all season...
Anyone heard from @gooner4ever or anyone else out there. Reports I've heard says not many England fans getting involved, mainly Russians strating all the trouble.
It's not going to be only England fans but from their behaviour that can be seen from footage it doesn't help the cause.
... from footage I've seen looks very much like the violence was pre-planned by certain Russian fan groups... lots wearing black rather than national tops ..
hello mate - i am out there for 2 games [wales and slovakia and have tickets for the wales game ] i have updated the euro prediction league on the separate thread. as to violence i have mates out there and they say it was very organised and targeted attacks by russian fans after the game at the stadium on any english fans they could get to, and before the game they again were very organised and attacked mainly pissed english fans and the sober ones who legged it were chased down side streets in to traps ! the first night it was mainly Marseille ultras who are just hooligans, baiting and then fighting mainly pissed english fans. so to sum up, our pissed fans have been attacked and have retaliated yet the headlines make it look like we have caused ALL the trouble. i don't doubt some of the flare ups have been caused by our fans but our media like to spin a bad story.
Weakest link in this England team is Roy, I'm a happy man at this point seeing the team selection in the first game. Keep it up please I don't want Vardy or Barkley anywhere near the pitch.
When we used to have them jumpers for goalposts matches back in the day..the fastest players were stuck out on the wings. Nothing else was a criteria. Raheem is that kid. No footballing brain..minimal impact...runs fast, let's hope the ball sticks to his feet.Says a lot when I'd prefer the brainless Townsend over the brainless Raheem.
That is desperate but neither should be in there. Vardy is on fire and should be playing and Barkley could be amazing come the World Cup if he's given playing time now. Stones the same, he's had a poor season but play the lad he's the future.
I don't agree too much with playing someone because he is the 'future'. Been hearing this forever. Need to play for now. 7 games, trophy in the pocket. This planning for the future always hinders the present. Yeah get the odd kid in...but he needs to be in the first team mix or at least coming off the bench. Having done it for his club during the season. Stones is not good enough or he would be in the Everton starting line up, instead he is dropped because he thinks he is Beckenbauer. Barkley even though he is young, has been in the fold for long enough to be established. The fact that he isn't just makes me think, many might disagree, but for me...he is at the level he will always play at. A top youngster shines regardless of who the manager is, depending on if he is given game time. Them 2 have had ample game time for their club. I think they are both overated English style. Vardy should be thrown on with 30 to go in every game to shake things up. He's a menace and should have been unleashed against the Russians. Instead Woy was ****ing over Sterlings bum looking good when he runs fast.
A different viewpoint, I think playing for the future would put you in a better place than where you are right now which is not a hope in hell of winning it and then putting the likes of Stones and Barkley into the World Cup and expecting them to produce. If you're playing for now then start Vardy he'll win you games.
