Good display. Predicted 1-1(we deserved more), but happy with how we played.

People snearing at Wales finishing top & predicting England getting nine points are buying......so get your order in folks!

Well you're top of the group, so it's in your hands.

Seems like we lack natural finishers in the team. Lallana couldn't hit a barn door, Sterling looks short of confidence...

Probably...England looked good. We have always qualified well, then sank without trace at tournaments....I think we looked up for it today, but it wasn't to be.

A good England performance - but the downside was that we did not take our chances. Sterling started brightly but faded after half-time. Kane was ineffectual. Was not too impressed with Rose - much sooner see Ryan playing there. Everyone else played pretty well.

Russia fans chased after England fans after the final whistle. Bunch of communist thugs.

I'd be surprised if Wales didn't qualify from the group, Russia are a poor side whatever happens vs us.

Lallana is presumably at his peak now and he really isn't good enough to start for England. A squad member at best.

I think you can. Earlier today Chris Coleman made a couple of superb decisions to make sure Wales won. Roy made a couple and England drew from a winning position. People will say Russia got a freak header. But England came under pressure because of the changes. Never mind. At least they haven't had a penalty shoot-out to deal with.

Just my opinion, but I thought we were fortunate to get the free kick, from which we scored, because the defender couldn't get out of Alli's (?) way. Then having been given the free kick, shouldn't it have been for obstruction, which is an indirect free kick - unless that has changed.

Unfortunate to concede in injury time, but this is a team that is always likely to let a goal in. Be interesting to see how they cope with the pace of Bale and the passion of the entire Welsh team.

Tbh, I thought Twatcheeks was very good. Played like he used to play for Saints, but at international level.

Side topic here, always like to look at potential Saints signings. Was impressed by Kokorin second half, obviously a player of quality. I know he was linked with a move to Arsenal a few years ago but things have quietened down. Could be worth a cheeky offer to Zenith..

    He can't dribble.
    He can't shoot
    He can't pass
    He can't tackle
But he can run very fast with the ball in a straight line
International player? So was Nathan Dyer at Saints.

Difficult for Harry Kane to lash one home from a corner when he's taking them.

Only one player was ever really good at scoring direct from corners and that was....MLT.

Tbf, upto the end of 2014-15 he could do all those things. He's been picked at international level when he's had a lousy season by being at a club that's one step too far for him. So he's lost confidence. Hence, you're right, he can't do those things. ;)

And Nathan Dyer has a Premier League winner's medal. Not bad for a player who went wrong at an early age by stringing along with Bradley Wright-Phillips.

I agree, looks short of confidence. Off the back of a pretty disappointing season at City.
