Well obviously it has. Football is a team game, so the better the team the better each individual can be expected to perform.
It doesn't stop him completing a five yard pass. Anyhow, whatever, let's hope Wales can hold on this half (or preferably score a couple more!)
Or the better the team, the more a player goes unnoticed. With Ronaldo alongside him, how much of the ball does he really get in comparison as to how much he gets for Wales? A lot less would be my guess.
I think his role for Wales is very different. The best thing he does is occupy two defenders when they attack. Oh, also feel I need to point out there's live Shinty on BBC Alba for any Scottish fans.
Invented by Platini, I believe, but I'm with you there. Howard Webb says they can do a good job, but then they've got to be awake and have input. Thing is, the extra official may have said, penalty, but the referee can always overrule him. However, clearly Škrtel has been overly aggressive there. But there's that bloody ruling about attackers having lost or no control of the ball. Goalkeepers get away with fouls because the attacker has lost control of the ball. Maybe there's something of that in the decision.? I'm fishing there.
Yeah, I agree. I'm just trying to find a plausible explanation for it not being given. Oh shame, Slovakia equalise.
Škrtel is one of those defenders, like Koscielny, who try it on and run the risk of getting themselves sent off. Koscielny is a lot better at getting away with it, but they're both out of the same mould. Coincidentally, both have faces you'd like to punch.
