How bad is the Renault car? No downforce, no grip, too much drag. I reckon I could have penned a better F1 car than them. RBR with same engine are chomping at Mercedes tail.
The car is underfunded thanks to the financial issues last year. This is also a reflection on how good the RedBull is though, the engine's still not great in the grand scheme of things. Will be properly embarrassing next year if Torro Rosso are still ahead.
Riccardo seems unhappy and under pressure now verstappen is in the red Bull. This season has been very interesting in terms of how teams have caught up.
Canada has always been Hamilton's strongest circuit, but I said at the start of the year that Rosberg had to be prepared to fight for every inch - even if it cost him the chance of a new contract - if he wanted to ever be WDC. He failed to do this in Monaco and - combined with the RB screw up - let Hamilton back off the canvas. It's already looking like this was a big mistake...
Is it my imagination or is the 'official' formula1 website terrible? I just though I had better check the Quali time and the site only lists it as Canada time not my local time. I seem to remember they used to have a link to switch between local race time zone and your local time zone? I don't visit the site very often as I find it very difficult to navigate with video images expanding and just not straight forward structure for info. Anyway, hopefully we will see an interesting quali and a great race.
Magnussen not taking part. Renault looking worse and worse. The car is not good, but not so sure how much the drivers are helping.
Magnussen and Palmer frustrated with the car. Manor still rubbish and Sauber continue their way to the back of the grid... maybe off it soon. Mclaren, Sainz and Force India strong here. Massa way off the pace maybe FP1 had an influence.
You are correct. As that section was collapsed when I view the front page I went on to the Canada page and the link is not there! Thanks
When last did you see Hamilton and Rosberg actually smiling and chatting. On the step after qualifying it was good to see them actually chatting and smiling. Great to see.
