I'm more than happy to keep debating this as I'm able to present a cohesive opinion on each point. However, it's not a particularly interesting debate when you just keep saying "send the ****ers back you mong Labour/Tory ****".

I don't see how anyone can "lose" this "argument" either as it's about personal opinions.

I don't think your way of trying to get your point across is particularly compelling!

So they're prepared to suffer to live. They should be applauded and helped by increasing minimum wage, not chucking them out of the country.

You talk about them like they are sub-human.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. But, fact is that London is currently seen as THE place to have property, and has been for some time. History dictates that the prices only go one way eventually. It's a very rich mans' version of Mark Twain's old adage. "Buy land, they ain't making it anymore"

It would certainly slow up if we voted to leave. But that would apply to the economy in general too.

Nonsense! As Stan has more than adequately pointed out, we're no EU puppets.

As for no hope, I'd rather be part of the wider picture than some isolationist little island poked out in the sea that nobody gives a toss about.

Sub human, not at all and those here would stay.

If rent/mortgage is £1000 a month a family would be to be on a good screw to pay it, but if 10 people are paying it, you can live on much lower wages and still be comfortable, so the outcome is wages are depressed (Stuart Rose head of the stronger in says so).

France's problems are of their own making. Nothing to do with the EU. They basically suffer from 1970's UK disease. A bunch of ultra left wing unions who want to do less work for more money.

So the problem is the minimum wage not the Romanians.

Raise the minimum wage and I suspect the Romanians would still end up taking the menial jobs as the Brits don't want them. Easier to live off the state!

Sane people need to realise that no matter what rational problems you put up regarding the flaws in Brexit, the answer will always be.... it's because of the EU! It's such an easy cop out.

Then there's the inconsistencies. Apparently the country is going down the ****hole thanks to the EU... but we're the 5th largest economy, we have higher wages, we have industries that the world wants to trade with, we have seen our assets like our house market rising. All the arguments as to why we'd survive Brexit but somehow we're **** while we're in Brexit. Go figure.

By the way, a word to the wise. Anyone who honestly thinks house prices are going to drop after we leave the EU is living in cloud cuckoo land <laugh> AND anyone who ACTUALLY WANTS house prices to drop clearly hasn't thought things through as they're advocating a recession <doh>

Ondeed, but the EU say they must have the same em
Part true I agree, but plenty of people would love to work for a fair wage, but that will bring in even more EU nationals that we cant house and offer health care without costing the tax payer £££££ more money, which we dont have

In theory, Gonz, yes. In practice, it doesn't work. As the unions in the UK found out when the Gvt was forced to close loss making industries.

One of the reasons the UK car companies disappeared.

I'm not great with all this political nonsense, I find it boring and hate that it's all lies so you can't trust what they say or what you read. All seems pointless to me might as well read a fictional novel as it'll be more interesting and be more relevant to my life.

In what you post though there is some truth, we don't want house prices to drop that would be very bad as loads of people would go into negative equity. Build more affordable housing and keep the housing market on the up would make sense. I live on a new estate and it's not like it's full of old people the majority are young couples with 1 kid, they have decent jobs and can afford the mortgage, so all this young people can't afford homes is nonsense from my point of view.
