I would imagine if he had a youngster with talent and thought he had protential then he would contact the club... Yes. If you get a minute listen to this, forward to 16:30 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03tstbl#play
Like the sound of his plans. Especially where the players can still play for their own Saturday or Sunday team but they get quality training from coaches that he appoints. Hopefully he finds some gems for us! Im off to bed now. Been a long day
Saw Mehew play against Exeter u18s, thought he played well hit the post certainly once maybe twice and had a direct free kick goal disallowed, he was subbed and Rovers lost CJS informed me via the forum it was their first defeat of the season
Post taken from GasChat couldn't agree more. "And so it begins. How bloody stupid to give it any credence. If we want more English players to benefit, restrict foreign players or reduce the number of kids allowed to be stockpiled by Premier League clubs."
Full story on OS.... Bristol Rovers are delighted to announce that James Clarke has agreed a new deal with the club. The versatile defender was Darrell Clarke's first signing since returning to the Football League after his contract came to an end at Woking. On agreeing his new deal with the club, James [Clarke] told us "I'm pleased to have signed this new deal with the club, last season the spirit in and around the place was the best I've ever experienced in my career. League One will be a step up for everyone, but it's one we take take together and I cannot wait to get started." Clarke was ever present in the Rovers side last season making an impressive 40 appearances in his debut season in the Football League and it was his consistency that drew plaudits from club Chairman Steve Hamer "James has never let the side down when selected, his commitment is there to be seen whenever he pulls on a Rovers shirt. It's another firm brick in the building of our squad for next season" James Clarke becomes the fourth player from the promotion winning squad to agree a new contract with the club, following teammates Steve Mildenhall, Daniel Leadbitter and Billy Bodin. http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news...ees-new-deal-3139894.aspx#mKf2O3UEAwPIuH1s.99

captain... a bit of topic here.... I want to get my old man a season ticket, I was hoping just to get it online but it seems as though its more difficult than I thought? I want to pay for it with my card details , but I want it in his name and address. And he is over 65..... can I do it online or is it just easier to do it over the phone? sorry for putting this in this thread......
I have always did it over the phone or went into the shop. Surely it must give you the option to put your dads info down. Then a seperate page to add you bank details down? Thats the usual thing when you buy anything else online.
it seems to ask for my card details and billing address before anything else? ill probably just do it over the phone Monday..
