I cant see how Monza will suit Mcalaren or Red Bull. Mercedes should probably be up the top as they have the fastest straight line. Also Force india have a special Monza Spec

Yes, shame on him and shame on his bosses for avoiding the issue, well timed, incidentally, just before the summer break during which, presumably, they hope it will fade away.

McLaren are one of the fastest in the straights, so they will be up there. Force India I think will be up there, but Mercedes will be up there too.

It is going to come down who will trim there wing the most.

Interesting interview with Button with him wanting it not to rain and he ignored team orders to come in for inters.

Why would Singapore suit RB, its where Alonso got his Grand Chelem.

So what?? Alonso could have won there for 85 years and it would be irrelevant. I am judging on this year's success and car performance.

looking at street races this year (monaco & Valencia) the top 3 have been very close, But the Red bulls advantage may of been from starting 1st.

McLaren-Ferrari-RBR at spa me thinks, the renault engine looks a bit weak at the faster circuits to me, and McLarens and Ferrari's aero package isn't to far off RBR's now.

Button just tried to take the credit for not coming in for inters (knew he would) but then admitted it was the team who finally told him to stay out.

Its all ifs and buts but Hamilton was too good for his own good because if he hadnt passed Button it would have been him that would have stayed out - and that would have negated his then tyre disadvantage to Button. The drive thru would have then set up a good battle for the win.

Anyway after all is said and done the biggest winner today was Vettel who extended his lead.

Yeah, In qualifying it will be close for downforce tracks like this one here. On tracks like Spa, McLaren, Ferrari and maybe Mercedes(if they find form) will be the fastest.

On the radio Button was asked if he wants to stay out or come in for tyres and Button said he is staying out. Button was never coming in for inters whatever his position was.

So sad today, Mercedes have fallen into the mid-season slump, Schumacher blazed into 5th from 9th, also led the race at one point, but the gearbox "failure" ended his race, getting to the point when I am feeling his car is being sabotaged, and I am being honest.

Yes (and he would say that woudn't he - the rain was starting to pour - half the field went in - is he mystic meg ??) - then he seemed to backtrack and said that it was his team who actually told him to stay out to avoid a queue. No doubt the idea was to come in on the next lap but then hey the rain suddenly started to go as quickly as it came. Game over.

Such a shame that a Mclaren 1,2 or even 1,3 didn't happen. Vettel's blip seems over, as is Buttons unlucky streak.

Vettel has won the Championship now.

McLaren might have the quickest car but they're too far behind now. Ferrari aren't quick enough.

Jenson was never going to pit for inters, even if he was leading at that stage. McLaren asked him, he said no and they said yeah its only raining at sector one. Smart thinking. Even without the rain, he would have won because he was on softs not needing to pit and Lewis was on supersofts needing to pit.

End game now though, look on to 2012, although the racing is still exciting in the midfield and latter of the front runners.

It all started when Lewis fitted the Options on. If he had put the Primes on then we can pretty much say he would have won.
