I dabbled in there a few times. Not on a Wed mind. Anyhoo us fulwell and seaburn lads took pikey whitburn many a time.
Too young to have been there but I've got the programmes from the 1973 semi-final and final. The final one is signed by Bobby Kerr.
Yeh I rushed out to the dentist never checked. Incedenly that's the first time I've been to the dentist since I was a teenager. Need four fillings dentist says my teeth is not to bad
Im petrified of dentists. What do you want to do when you grow up? I want to be a dentist as im a barbaric mofo. And love sticking my hands into peoples gobs and drilling **** out of their teeth. The blood. The puss. The smell. Evil bastards. Everyone of them
They have a container at the ground on match days and they have a place in the library a bit more permanent.
I got a 1960s white replica shirt from toffs. when charlies book came out he came to the manchester branch to promote it. I took the shirt and he signed it along with his book. the white shirt just had SAFC as the badge
It's the bit when they drill into your tooth to clean it in preparation for the filling that gets me. If I let the memory flash across my mind I can almost physically feel it. Hope it went well for you Vince.
Had loads of autographs by team on a page devoted to each team and got those when the visiting bus arrived at the ground but they disappeared over time along with programmes. Two most treasured items were Shack's book signed by him and a fully signed 1973 programme. Passed onto family members as my most direct heirs are ManU supporters.
