    It's my birthday on Saturday and I've asked the birthday fairies for an Egnland win. However, I am not sure I can trust them as they usually bring me underpants - rather than Scarlett Johansson's underpants. I don't think they are really listening.

    Thankfully its at 10.00pm for me - although with work on Sunday I need to raise some enthusiasm to watch it. I think it was 2006 when I last watched England - I was in a tented camp outside Juba, South Sudan, on the banks of the Nile River. I think the result was 2-2 with Sweden. The night was memorable for me because another tented camp on the opposite bank was attacked by rogue soldiers who killed several people - so the match build up consisted of a cacophony of AK47's and heavy support weaponary. Lets hope that nothing like this happens on the streets of France during the tournament.

    Nice! My brother used to work in Juba, a few years back. A lot of black mambas and mortar fire from what he told me. Sounds lovely.

    Singapore's a nice enough place. Never been to Malaysia though. I'm sure you'll find a few expat bars there showing it. Will probably be a decent atmosphere.
