I think Scotland have done the right thing though. Playing friendlies against Italy and France. Denmark aren't terrible. They have to test themselves.
This is pretty bold for you Dave! (Get it!? Content, and the txt?!) I can see Giggs doing a Sherringham. Going lower league to learn his trade, but doesn't really work out, and we wont hear from him until United hire him back as a coach or something.
It's pretty interesting. A team win the League, and players are rushing for the door! Vardy to Arsenal looks likely. Kante to PSG Sounds probable. and now a hot prospect maybe heading for the door. I'd be a bit worried if I was a Leicester fan. http://www.givemesport.com/781693-b...al&utm_campaign=Tribute-Pages-laika-III-1sted
Don't know f this link will work - http://www.not606.com/threads/transfer-goss-and-rumours-summer-2016.328425/page-33. Top of page 33.
I can see the players reasoning. They have just won the title so are at the height of their powers to attract new suitors who are far richer and more established, so they will be expecting a substantial income upgrade, far in excess of that, that Leicester will be able, even with their windfall, to offer them. Leicester are caught between a rock and a hard place. If they greatly improve their player contracts then they have to be challenging for the duration of those contracts in order to be able to afford them in the long term. Pay the going rate and the players will be looking enviously at the "bigger" clubs salary structure.
Just seen this story on the EDP website - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic..._become_norwich_city_s_main_sponsor_1_4567554. At least we shouldn't have the debacle with our shirt design that we had last year and quite a few PL teams have betting groups as their main sponsors!!!!
Current NCFC contract situation (as at May 26th) http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...players_got_left_on_their_contracts_1_4550625
Right, so the metropolis has sculpture trails of elephants, followed by gorillas, then dragons. Our country cousins have decided to follow suit...and are using pigs! This one is modeled on Ed Sheeran, apparently! please log in to view this image
Well, just a thought - as well as Ed Sheeran, you could have suggested a pig modeled on "Del Boy" Trotter?
Well, I have to say that I'm pretty underwhelmed by our opposition for the final game before the season starts on 6th Aug - Saturday, July 30 – Norwich City v Hannover (Carrow Road, 3pm). They were relegated from the Bundesliga!!!!! I'm more likely to go to the game V Coventry on 26th July and have steak and chips beforehand!!!!!
