Why is it a good move for him? Leon is still one of our best players. We need to keep him next season.
Its not only what he gives on the pitch it is the experience he brings off it to our youngsters. He is far to good for them.

If he is one of our best players valley there is not much hope for us......He needs to drop down a league if he still wants to play or join the coaching staff...he does a lot of work away from the club at schools and charity events and that's his limit now. He is nowhere near being one of our best players now....great servant but needs to move on to a lower level.....

No sentiment in football sorry.....If leon is one of Swansea best players then that explains why we were rubbish last season. he was replaced for being muscled of the ball to many times. Now if you said he used to be one of our best players then i would agree. The lad needs to either hang up his boots at the top of his career in top flight football or drop down a standard where he may and i say again may last a bit longer. He should finish is coaching badges and see if he makes it as a coach and if he turns out rubbish at that then he could join Tate and hang around the club as a groupie...
