    I would have piggy backed him to his next club. Getting in a car after a beer, he earns enough to have his own private taxi.......

    Can't wait to see if RK or DM was behind that stupid decision. What next Pienaar, Ossie and Hibbo(to be fair Ossie and Hibbo should be offered coaching roles if the want to pack in)

    He's a decent squad player who's now got a resale value, it's far from stupid

    Good, can't stand that rag, so there's another great reason to leave it to the rabbit droppings.

    According to someone who's "ITK" the whole Koeman situation is turning into a mess. Erwin Koeman is pissed off at Ronald as he didn't want to go. Saints are refusing to budge with clauses in the deal - i.e. no buying Saints players. Koeman also turned his back on the academy and alienated quite a number of players with his management style (he turned on 20 year old Matt Targett with some nasty abuse). Ronald's intention was to use the Everton offer to get a better deal with Saints (he wasn't that interested in the Everton job). However Saints told him to **** off, he had verbally agreed to a deal before Everton came in and you can take that one or leave it. So the whole situation has backfired on Ronald. He never really wanted the Everton job in the first place. If Saints and Everton and Keoman can't come to an agreement he will be placed on gardening leave for a year. He's well and truly burnt his bridges here. Good luck with him. He's trashed his reputation in the last few weeks and acted like a complete ****.

    Does that mean Everton are not going to get their man? How many more managers are going to decline a move to "the really, really, biggest and bestest football club"?

    All the while the Saints (a most appropriate name if ever their was one for a club with integrity) will quietly get on with their business and will not need to use the media as part of a dirty dealing campaign. I bet we announce the completed signing of our new manager before you lot do and I bet Koeman's garden will look a picture in twelve months time.

    <laugh>

    What an absolute crock of ****

    The players hated him, he didn't play the youth, he's a ****....and yet you all wanted him to sign a new deal after he'd guided you to your highest top flight finish in over 30 years.

    Backfired my arse, £6m a year and a massive transfer budget, I bet he's weeping into his pint pot in Turkey like <laugh>

    On and the gardening leave bollocks is just that, we've agreed terms with him and therefore by definition Soton had given us permission to speak to him, otherwise they'd be screaming blue murder to the FA. Therefore the terms of his departure were already sorted.

    Don't believe it if you want but there's definitely some foundation to it. It's well known that Mane and Tadic were angry about how Koeman treated some players. He certainly blocked the path of academy to first team. Now, I don't know if it's as bad as has been suggested, but can you give an explanation of why this is dragging on so long?

    He's in Turkey, back tomorrow apparently

    Strange how all this supposed dressing room unrest and awful management style weren't an issue 3 weeks ago when you were all convinced he was going to stay like. Weird that....
