There is no twisting of facts W_Y. If Britain leaves the EU. then they would eventually start a Visa type system for tourists from the EU. quite simply because many job seekers arrive as tourists (at least initially) - they do not have a sign post around their knecks saying 'I am looking for a job' when appearing at passport controls. If Britain starts asking every single person on entry why they are coming and how long they are staying then Britain is going to lose one hell of a lot of European tourism - why should a Frenchman go through all this hassle when they can just as easily go to Spain or Italy. You may also find that many people coming for language course holidays (a very important industry for some towns) simply relocate to Ireland.

There would be more money to spend on the NHS and many other things. The poor thing was confused, nobody has said they would spend the entire £350 million per week. This issue is different to your desperate red herring link to privatising the NH.

You will have those poor German carmakers crying themselves to sleep over the loss of their second best market.

If Brexit happened we would not accept the current free movement of Rumanian gypsies and all, unless required to benefit the UK.

I'm sure Europeans can understand that they can visit the UK but will be committing an offence by overstaying their visa entitlement, what is the problem?

Do you ever actually read texts written by other people ? - introduce a Visa requirement for Europeans and they will go somewhere else if another choice is available. EU. citizens count for around 68% of all tourists to the UK. Have you not seen elsewhere how much money is brought into London by them ? It stands to reason that if I am choosing between 2 holidays then I will choose the one involving the least hassle, and also where I feel myself welcome. What type of message do you think Britain is sending out to the World at the moment when they are prepared to vote on something so important purely on the basis of xenophobia and fear of immigration ?

The Brexiters represent common sense and prefer accountability from ELECTED politicians.

I used to think the remain side would win easily due to not disturbing the status quo. If they leave side lose narrowly the demand for self government will continue especially with the massive problems facing the EU and the mad dash to form a United States of Europe. Cameron's dubious tinkering will have little effect on the hordes of migrants entering the UK particularly with the higher minimum wage.
This debate will continue for a long time unless the UK votes sensibly to leave this crooked undemocratic madhouse behind.

Of course there is always the other option - not so much increase taxation, but make sure that those who actively avoid paying tax at current rates actually pay what they morally owe.

What £350 pw? It has been proved over and over again to be a falsehood and yet Boris still blusters on despite being told it is wrong. Sorry SH you are now twisting and turning when it is on record that Gove wants an American type NHS.

You will probably never know how much entertainment you give me by your comments. The image of you waking up one morning and finding your back garden full of Romanian gypsies is better than most comedies that the BBC produce these days. My grand mother died in Berko, and in those days the Jewish population was the one that was being demonized. It is always easy to pick on one group. Just how many Romanian gypsies are currently in the country? Unless you know and can provide the figures, then I can only suggest you are plucking ideas from the air that have no foundation.

And there the EU is proving more successful than the UK on it's own. Many of the largest corporations have been called to account recently and have agreed to pay up. Maybe the tax system overall needs an overhaul, but I suspect, but don't know, that there are plenty of wealthy individuals or large companies avoiding paying what they morally owe to the Scottish government.

I'm pleased I cheer you up it must be quite depressing living in a country where nearly a third of voters support a party you call racist.

The large companies involved in Scotland are exactly the same as the ones guilty in England - strangely mostly all US companies it would seem. I'm not too sure that the Scottish Government have been devolved the right to chase them - that's the preserve of HMRC unfortunately. Wealthy individuals are another story though - plenty of m'lords and m'ladies are panicking over what the Land Reform Bill means for them.

No I live in a country that I like to live in. I have friends of different backgrounds and nationalities, and I try with varying degrees of success to communicate with them. Clearly I am not concerned as you about living alongside people who come from different cultures, but yes I do worry about people like Le Pen, Trump, Farage and Putin who can hardly wait for the UK to help destroy a system that despite all it faults does bring people together rather than drive them apart.

The Greeks, 50% unemployed young in Spain, Portuguese, Italians who had their government chosen for them would firmly disagree with your glib statement. The EU, especially the Euro area, is extremely divided, the Schengen agreement is in tatters with rising dissatisfaction for the EU, particularly the French.

After my recent holiday in Corsica I couldn't help but think of the similarities between the island and Scotland. Certain things have been devolved to their own government, but they still need mainland support as the population is too small to make the economy viable without it. There is now a small number who would like total independence, but as one lady who lives there said to me, there is a general acceptance that we cannot live without money from Paris. They have done rather well as there are many things that are better there than the mainland, such as the state of the roads, but they have chosen to have their own taxes, which has resulted in some things cheaper and others more expensive. It is quite a good example of what semi-devolved government can achieve, and judging by the fact that house prices are 50% more expensive than the mainland, a place where people would like to live.

I can only assume that you are happy to associate yourself with people I mentioned above as you have just ignored the main thrust of my comment. You can try as long as you wish to make out that everything is wrong with the EU and everything would be wonderful with Boris and Gove running the UK, but with the vast majority of companies, English and foreign, who provide the money that the country needs saying you are wrong, it is time for you to stop dishing out the nonsense, and accept that you cannot provide an alternative economic way forward. Strangely enough the Brexit campaign wished to leave the economic argument when they lost it, and Farage who had been sidelined suddenly was brought out of the cupboard. He and Le Pen are happy companions, and if you wish to have the same comments made about the leave group as are made about those two soulmates, then you are welcome to support them.

Many of the heads of large companies, if you remember, urged the UK to join the Euro. Nobody is saying that everything about the EU is wrong but there are tens of millions of people living in Euroland living in abject poverty due to mismanagement by the Eurocrats. I suppose because you are not immediately affected you chose to ignore the reality of the situation.

You foolishly call anybody that wants to control immigration a racist, I do not suppose you actually let those one in three around you know your strange views?

You are wrong again. The people living in poverty, and yes there are many, are there because their own governments led them there. Nothing to do with the EU. Greece had a system of benefits that no government could finance, and when they went bust had to go cap in hand for a bale out to anyone who would help them out. There are many in the UK who live a substandard way of life compared to you., not because of the EU, but for circumstances that exist within their country. Does the EU tell Osbourne what budget he must produce, or Valls that he must raise VAT? Of course it doesn't. Repeatedly trying to blame Eurocrats for problems does not stand up to examination, even if it makes a good sound bite.

Just for you information, there were 957 people who voted in the last election here. There were 2 who voted for the FN candidate. Seems that your views are stranger than mine.

Th Eurocrats allowed the Greeks to enter a system they were clearly unqualified for. They continued to lend them huge amounts of money without any due diligence. Like the decision to create the Euro it was a political decision not one based on common sense.

The Eurocrats are trying to create a single state which would control tax and spend. They also desire more control over the city of London.

I have always lived within my means, it might be unfashionable to some in society but the alternative only leads to problems, individuals or governments.
