wrong tyre choice and traffic enabled button to 'catch-up' on lewis in the 3rd stint. At least button's proved the car is now ready to win the remainder of the races from now on.
? i think you should go check the car speeds from Germany, Vettels top speed was 298, Hamilton 310, a bit heard to overtake someone who has better top end speed, besides I think the McLaren has been the best car for a while with the exception of the Valencia and Silverstone anomalies, I expect them to really start to dominate after the summer break, so far my pre-season prediction is looking good.
Do I? Jeez, I've been away too long. I thought McLaren's rocket orange winning shirts were that colour because of the car's original livery.
At stint 3 i thought he'd chosen the soft option tyres that ruined his race? I wasnt able to watch all the race.
Lewis lost the race the moment McLaren decided to split the strategy of the 2 cars despite having an easy 1-2 in the bag. Not sure why they put Lewis on supersofts and Jenson on softs. Good race from Jenson though, Lewis was faster than him throughout a lot of the race but he knows his stuff when it comes to strategy. Vettels got he title in the bag because of these two taking too many points off each other, wonder when he will wrap it up? Japan I think, maybe Korea.
I may have been thinking of Silverstone - when Vettel came out behind Alonso and Hamilton and was massively faster than Hamilton, all over the back of him, but couldn't get past.
I can't remember if that was stint 3 or 4, there were a lot of pit stops. Anyway surely the option is quicker than the prime? But is was the wrong tyre to go on in terms of strategy.

It also, in an instant, reversed my opinion of both Humphrey (who I've always resisted categorising as a vacuous BBC mouthpiece with no interest in F1 or the fans) and Jordan (who had the presence of mind to call Humphrey's response "censorship"). Shame on Humphrey.
yeah, and reply to yur other post, I don't think people will mind if McLaren dominate the rest of the races as it will mean they are slowly chipping down Vettels lead making it a far more interesting season run in, we've seen enough evidence that McLaren will let them race, so that would put Button and Hamilton into play for a three-way battle. there is no battle at RBR because there is a vast gulf in the driving talent, think Mansell Patrese, Senna Berger. Not quite like that at McLaren, Button has impressed me far more this season than any other, he seems different, far more aggressive than in any previous seasons. So if McLaren dominate it will be by 2 drivers chasing down an 'unassailable' leader, rather than a single driver just walking away with it into the distance.
It's clear. McLaren now have the fastest car. Spa, should suit them. Monza as well. Singapore will be Red Bull.
