You adapted a more dickish approach to this forum in honour of your new manager? ;-)

    Excellent question.

I'd hope klopp can spot a good Un and bring them in cos anyone with a name seems uninterested

    My view is thus....

In 1993 in the darkest of souness days I saw piechnik and kozma and humiliating defeats but we had mcmanaman and we knew fowler was coming. Rush and others were there.

In 1998 as the Evan era ended badly I saw a right mixed bag but we looked at Owen coming with great anticipation, and gerrard.

In 2004 we were in cl when houllier was sacked, we'd done things and we're ambitious but ****.

The rafa came and we were close, we'd glory and Moores and parry ****ed us totally.

Now all there is is klopp. There is literally nothing, the cupboard is bare.. there no buzz around any youths, no real stars at all... and no coutinho and sturridge are not stars, neither is firmino.

If lfc want to get back to the top and I still doubt fsg heart.... well... if everton appoint monchi while we play make do we won't see much coming from academy and we will waste klopp. We need new structures and new heart.

And I know we are ****ing spoiled brats having been in two finals... but we are terribly average as a team. I can only hope klopp makes us a 1-0 team next year and we get really mean at the back. That's our only hope right now.

That was aimed at Jimmy as a pre-empt to the end of next season, if it doesn't go well I just wanted to be clear if It was because Klopp didn't have his own team/squad (the players he wanted) and had to make do with who he could get <laugh>

**** me rigid, what are you on? <laugh>
Go to the quack and get some more fanboy pills asap, mito, you're making me depressed.
I'm miserable enough at the prospect of being led down the drain by Boris ****wit Johnson and his band of buffoons as it is.
Footie's meant to be an escape from all that ****.

Man Utd fans have managed to somehow become even more unbearable since the end of the season. Didn't even think that was possible.

That particular bar has never been too low for them to limbo under. I think Maureen will get them back into the top four for the half billion or whatever it is he has to spend, but the title? Well Leicester proved anyone with a plan can do it last year, but I dunno. Still think it'll be City or Spurs, but we'll see. I know what people mean about the depression side of things in that we all know, Klopp or not, we'll not make top four, never mind challenge for the league.

    :)

Seriously though, I can't tell whether you're on the wum or just down, but we have to be more optimistic than this. Like I said to carl, this is football, not the referendum, there's no place or need for objectivity.
If our manager and players went into the season with the attitude that they're already doomed to mid-table then that's where we'll end up, and we'd all quite rightly rip them apart for it. The only way they'll get anywhere is to have some self-belief.
Why should the fans be any different?

A social media riot - that should be fun.

    Only 8-1? Peanuts.
Now if it was 5000-1, which is as much chance as the "realists" on here give us - it might be worth me changing the habit of a lifetime and blowing 20p on it.

any activity would be nice now... the luv before he was deballed and the late gerrez told me that mods need to try and drop a few topics in, spark something.

My odds for LFC are 20/1 <whistle> unkie tobes told me that everyone has an equal chance.
