Beardsley's Rancid Sack (the poster not the actual sack) was who immediately sprang to mind. A true Picasso of profanity.

But the addition of references to Satan's warty pommel end adds a lovely literal air of mystery to his commentary...

Dorty I'm disappointed you did not make the sweepstake cut - I blame Pardew

    I second this.
Dorts was too distracted playing at left back to notice the game was on.

    Hopefully this is not true!

It will bring back the days of over-paid mercenaries! I am sure he is on a fecking good deal as it is.

If we want a decent player we need to pay decent wages.
I honestly don't think Andros is a mercenary.
He stuck around at Spurs when there will have been lots of other offers on the back of his England performances.
I just think the lad wants to play football and improve.
He should get both at NUFC and under Rafa.

Still do not understand WHY did he leave a team challenging for honours to join a team that was struggling, WHY did Spurs let him go ????

Surplus to requirements. Look through their squad.
They are on a different level now.

In which case he shouldn't need a pay rise after 6 months just to keep him!

That was certainly not the impression I got in the last game of the season , he must have been close to the best player on the field from both sides

Indeed. I agree. Spurs tailed off quite a bit towards the end but they were sublime for the first 30 games and at one point looked nailed on winners.

You had plenty of good players last season, what you did NOT have was a good team

But for most of the season Spurs did which brings us full circle as to why Andros couldn't get into their first team. Not that he wasn't a good player or a good team player but that their first team didn't need to include him.

Have to say I think it's a good idea to have more than eleven good players at the club
