People like you BBP are the reason this forum stalls from time to time. Stuck in your ways with your love in of the old posters who've moved onto pastures new, yet you don't give new posters the time of day. There's people posting now more than they ever have and instead of interacting etc you cry about people who've left. Now I'm not saying for a second they're not missed by you and others and I agree they were all contributors to the board, but things change, people change and people move on. Deal with it.
All contributed in their own way. But the same names keep getting mentioned, yet there has been 100's been and gone that dont get a mention. Times change. Lots of newer names post now, good. There will come a time when all the original ones have left. But the board will be in good hands and continue. Thats life.
Just to be clear, I didn't come on this thread to personally insult Bobby, he made that my secondary objective with his first response to me, telling me to **** off. It's just a bit annoying, especially after so many similar threads on the same subject lately, that people keep pining for older posters to come back. It's a bit of a kick in the teeth for the lads who are doing their best to keep this forum lively and interesting, especially when the football season is finished. I'd be more than happy by the way, to stop posting on this board if somebody I had a molecule of respect for thought it'd be a good idea. I can PM folk who I chat with most, start groups and stuff, so it'd be no huge loss if that ends up being the case.

Maybe we are not good enough. Ive seen every poster mentioned so far come and go. They were no better than what we have now. But the rules of the forum were different.
It's no secret I like Joe and Smug, two top posters, but I know their reasons for leaving and wouldn't wanna start begging them to come back. If they're reading and not posting, it's because they want to read and not post, it's not like they're ****ing otters, scared to post. There's loads of funny, interesting and controversial posters on here, at one point I was thinking it was going down the ****ter but it's fine... give me a Vince or a RAW any day who'll weather the good with the bad, over a Talc who's left after a big strop by all accounts, **** him.
They obviously dont miss us,so why the feck should we waste our time missing them. Its like wishing an ex player still played for your club.
I miss my teens. No responsibility and loads of sex was to be had! Sadly there is as much chance of me waking up 15 and having a whale of a time, as there is of these posters coming back.
I miss porn magazines, there was something 'naughty' about mags, you'd have to hide them in the most ridiculous places so your mum wouldn't find them, you'd have to go to the petrol station at 1am to buy them so you didn't bump into somebody you knew... Now, turn your phone to private, porn hub, bosh one out on the bog whilst telling your wife you're having your 4th dump of the day... not as much fun.
Haha. Even if we remained in the Championship for years, it wouldn't alter my support. We just make up the numbers in the PL anyway.
