    Good Morning Everyone,

Peacock - Farrell is set to sign a new contract at Elland Road, but at what cost?

You may recall that the teenage keeper was stalling on a new year whilst waiting to find out answers as to who was going to :-

    a) Take the hot seat

    b) GK coach

    c) Wages

    d) His role this forthcoming season

It seems that his questions have been answered, and he'll finally put pen to paper later today!

    Where does this leave Silvestri?

All of a sudden Silvestri has been linked with a number of both English and Italian clubs.

    Coincidence?

Leeds are interested in manchester united midfielder Nick Powell, who has struggled to impress since joining United from Crewe in 2012.

The 22-year-old's contract at Old Trafford will expire at the end of June and United are reportedly prepared to allow him to leave on a free

Leeds face competition from league rivals Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa, Norwich and Wigan.

Meanwhile don't be surprised if we make an offer for fellow manure academy product Ashley Fletcher, how impressed on loan at Barnsley last season.

Morning Elland and all. No point in signing any ex scum players. The faithful won't give them any chance. With Euros about to kick off, doubt if there will be much transfer activity with most clubs. Agents, scouts, coaches will all be focused on them so don't expect much transfer activity till July.. No rush though, worth waiting for the right ones. Only internationals need apply

Morning Eire, what about Strachan? You couldn't get more fans favourite than him?

Actually Old Sea Dog will remember the days of McQueen, Greenhoff and Jordan. Did Leeds fans give them a hard time?

Morning Elland, morning troops. On BPF, pre-season now gets interesting. To agree an extension, he must have been told he has a fair chance of starting. However, he will need a decent pre-season to be able to dislodge Silvestri. That said, we have a Manager who's not afraid to put the kids in. So who knows? Either way, it's in BPF's hands as to what happens next.

On ex-sc&m players, if they're good enough and better than what we have, so be it. Sign 'em up. That said, I'll believe all these transfer stories when they appear on the OS

Fans of that era were different, not nearly as bigoted as our younger ones, with the odd exception of course

I think Strachan was excepted quickly because he left the scum under a cloud, he criticised old red nose and the club, his performances early on in a white shirt also helped.<ok>

Jordan and Mc Queen only got stick when they went to the scum, Greenhoff joined from the scum and I'm not sure if he got slated. Glory would be in a better position to answer that..<ok>

Morning all. I don't see the point in keeping all 3 Goalkeepers. So if Peacock-Farrell signs which looks likely, who out of Turnbull and Silvestri is surplus to our requirements or wants out. Personally speaking, I would let Silvestri go. The Serie B 'project' has not worked apart from possibly Berardi and I think it's time to move on. I think even Cellino admitted this recently and we should just be thankful it didn't end in disaster/relegation which looked a distinct possibility at a few different stages over the last couple of seasons. There is plenty of good British talent about and let's just hope Monk can convince a few of them to join us.

How old is Turnbull? If the plan is to keep him, best that he goes out on loan to develop his career unless staying with the development squad is a better option.

Morning Boggers, with the lack of loyalty these days with players moving from club to club so easily signing a scum player does not have the impact it once did.
