No, it isn't a 'post your chino pics' type of thread. How hot is it where you are right now? On Monday Consett was 25c Yesterday Cheltenham was 27c Today Newbury was 24c and it 28c in Gloucester earlier. It's currently 24c at 9pm and rediculously humid. Abroad I never have issues but I'm sweating me bits off here. You boys and girls the same?
I've been up to my caravan up near Hexham the last few weekends and it has been touching 37 in the van on occasions. Sunday afternoon was hot. People living nearer the coast complaining that it has been much colder of late.
Been sitting out on the decking this evening and it's been nice. Warm but not too hot. Was up at Kielder on Sunday and I was sweatier than a sumo wrestler's jockstrap, although I was cycling the full 26 miles around the reservoir at the time.
We're near Seahouses at the moment on our Long Odessey around the UK. This morning it's rather damp and I am wondering how I am going to drive off this waterlogged pitch as we are supposed to be heading southwards today to the other side of the Wear. Been glorious here these last few days and sunburn galore as we were scrumping seaglass from the beach. We have one eye on the weather forecasts for Aberdaron as we're going to settle there after our year long trip in the Gin Palace and the weather seems to be about ten degrees higher than here at the moment.
Indeed and sells for quite a lot on Etsy. One could make a living from this. Well, almost. And after a hard morning's scrumping there's always a pub somewhere...
