was outstanding that game the keeper m8 , but they did not deserve anything out of that game ..they were second best by a mile ..
You too Windy, get signed up. Schmeichel was just ridiculous that season and in general. I was thinking about it the other day when watching a Sky Classic, he is so much better than any keeper around today. To be honest he must be the best of all time. I hated every single one of that Man U team, to deny us any title was ridiculous. It probably changed the long term future of our club massively. Then you look through the players they had, Beckham, Giggs, Cantona, Keane, Irwin, Schmeichel, Scholes - truly world class players in their positions
We had a great team with great players but just not as great as theirs. Cold hard fact unfortunately. I haven't seen a better keeper than Schmeichel to be fair.

Funny you should mention pies in Liverpool. A few years back I went to Goodison Park to watch us lose away again. I dragged along my son and youngest daughter. My son was feeling unwell with an upset stomach. We were at our seats and a few lads came along the row to their seats just in front of us holding pies which once they got to their seats they began eating. I smelt the pie first and it turned my stomach. Seconds later my son smelt it and was immediately sick all over their seats. The only plus side was they hadn't sat down yet. It was so hard not too laugh and the lads couldn't get angry with my son as he was clearly ill.
I don't think we will ever see a goalkeeper as good as Schmeichel. Although some are already talking up Kasper.
