The window doesn't officially open until the end of June. All the deals you are hearing about now are either incomplete or involve released/out of contract players.
Based on our previous business with them, Swindon have turned down a £500k offer from a Championship club for striker Nicky Ajose... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36462667
ok, perhaps I should have clarified, why doent we see who we actually sign before complaining about these 'signings'
... because it is much more fun to believe everything that is written by the tw@ts in the newspapers and on the nothing sports blogs. Then we can enjoy ourselves having a good old moan.
If us QPR fans/supporters had nothing to complain about then this forum would not thrive like it dose. Come on Croydon, complaining is what us Brits do best We invented it and are world leaders in doing so! In my three years as a not606 member I have actually noticed how quiet the forum goes for a few days in the aftermath of a good rare QPR win! If we could have much more regular good (good being wining by more than one goal, and convincingly with pride) QPR wins and still have the complaining then this would be the best site/forum on the interweb imo
*** I'll vouch for that, UTR's knows what he's talking about ............... if anyone can talk bulldust, he can! ( .... l'm pretty handy myself ) **** Sorry, but your not world leaders at bitching, nowhere near it ................. because I'm such a nice chap, l won't say what nationality is, ha! ****** Why do you think l'm on here 24/7??????? The season we won the Championship, I spent more time with my lovely wife than ever before in 34 years of marriage! I'm sure she has since purchased a QPR pin doll.
http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-plan-jake-bidwell-approach QPR plan to make another approach for Brentford captain Jake Bidwell. Brentford recently rejected an offer from Rangers for the left-back, 23, who has a year of his contract remaining. So too does Huddersfield defender Joel Lynch, 28, who is also on Rangers’ list of transfer targets. QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is keen to sign a left-sided centre-back this summer and worked with Lynch, 28, when the Dutchman was on the coaching staff at Nottingham Forest. Lynch had a four-year spell at Forest and previously played for Brighton. He joined Huddersfield in 2012 and has made 122 league appearances for the Yorkshire club. Either (preferably both) of these would be great signing IMO, good Championship experience, a bona-fide leader in Bidwell, and both defenders.
Don't think any signings can be announced before July 1st, unless anyone knows different? Keep rumours coming though, last season we was supprised who came in so these rumours could mean nothing!
Now what do we make of this on the offy http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/q...-up-hoilett-forsyth-speculation-3137479.aspx? The Hoillet bit...is fair game imho.... we want him to stay...and he is thinking about...OK..fair enough But the rest is tittle-tattle from press. If we are doing business, we want to keep it quiet like we did in January...it is JFH style. So is this smoke and mirrors???? Are these deals that are dead in the water, whilst real deals are being done??? Is the PR team not playing with the same deck of cards that the management are??? Why is this info on the offy??? Odd strategy....Or super-double bluff In short...I do not get it. Anyone got any ideas?
Given that this is QPR I would assume that there is no strategy involved, it's just the website curators trying to find stuff to get some hits. Probably have even thought to talk to the people involved in looking for players.
