Bony or another striker is a want and not a need IMO if Ayew sticks around with Paloschi . We have bigger problems to fill in defence and with shoring up set pieces . Remember it was a season of two halfs and once the door hit Monk on the way out ... we played better over all , especially the last 3 or so games . The kinks got worked out and Guidolin has a summer to tinker with the present team and a few new players hopefully
Bony will shore up us defensively from set pieces as he did when he was here, plus he will give us much needed goals, Win win for me.
I will do back flips if we land Bony , but won't hold my breath . A CB , RB and maybe a LB ( depending on how Guidoloin is able to bring Kingsley along over the summer ) are top priority for me . Also Fer , or a reasonable facsimile is a must . Prefer Fer if the price is right , set piece alone will be a huge bonus .
We need a couple of real quality strikers or we are fcuked. Ayew dont score enough goals and is not a striker...
I'd sell Palo and Ayew if meant getting Bony in Roof. He's top, top class, and that's what we need up front.
I'd sell Ayew for sure if we got excellent money , IMO Paloschi is to much a bargain . Bony and Paloschi would be perfect but if Bony doesn't come in and Ayew leaves we will need another striker .

Well if these new owners buy these two it will go a long way to help ease the concerns about their takeover. Hope the news about Gylfi buying a house is true. We cannot sell him this summer. He's impossible to replace.

Are you thinking of their development squad striker Tyler Roberts? He is meant to be an incredible prospect both for Wales and West Brom...would be surprised if they sold him, but would like to see him in our squad.
Bookies have us in the relegation mix again for this season and going by our lack of signings then they are probably on the button......we are with Hull, boro,sunderland watford as one of the most likely teams to get relegated....I cant see anything i can argue against that tbh...
Not positive Norfolk but I believe he might be referring to James Chester a CB , West Brom got him from Hull for 8 million and apparently we showed interest in him in January but West Brom wouldn't sell to a " Relegation Rival " at the time . I think he is frustrated at West Brom and wouldn't mind coming to us but. .....not for me unless it's a lot less than 8 million . You could be right about Tyler but have seen little in the press , whereas the Chester transfer has been in the media several times. Chester certainly isn't a youngster at 27 though.

Which one though? 17 goals and 12 assists in 34 games is a great return. Hopefully the report there is true. As for Gomis, God I hope it's true. Don't want to see him in a Swans shirt ever again.
