He'll be 27 by the time the season starts so I can understand him not wanting to 'waste' a year in the Championship. I think there will be plenty of Premier League clubs with new TV money to burn falling over themselves to sign him up but I doubt it will be one of the Champions League clubs. I suppose Leicester could see him as back up to Mahrez but I think he's ideally cut out for Stoke. If you were to take the time to read the first three lines of what I wrote and the remainder in that context, you will note that I am quite pleased. I'm not pissed off that he's said what he wants to be away, the opposite actually, but some fans do seem put out that he's said so.
