Sunderland will shock us all if they're not in a relegation scrap Hull will die on their arses, unless the takeover happens and the new owners spunk some decent cash, as their current squad is bilge.
all true. I've hopes for boro.. but not for the others. look at the money swansea pay just in wages to hold a team together. why bony and siggurdsson look happy to go back after moves and put feet up.. Bournemouth for me worked as big a miracle (nearly) as leicester.
Thought you would like that news Tobes ...........good signing for you, things are on the up at Goodison
great.... are the poor saints fans boiling? Everton can get to work now... its 3 weeks to preseason.. lots of work to get going on. southampton better move fast. i wonder if they already have someone lined up.
Just read the comments section on the Le Tiss tears story on the beeb, the saints fans and many others can't agree what makes EFC a bigger club. They appear to believe their last two seasons finishes makes them a bigger club, I suppose their logic tells them Leicester are now the biggest club in the country. One of them ended their comment with "and Southampton is a nice place to live", ffs Koeman never lived in inner city Southampton just like he won't live on County Road to save on the petrol.
That's the fear with the new money. Owners have shelled out a lot recently.. just not on the right people. Lot of trust in our manager + staff now. Above also contains Spurs and Leicester. Both will fail to reach last year's standings imo. I think our biggest plus (league wise) is no Europe... sad as that is. EDIT - De Boer for the Saints then?
They did. I can't really complain about fsg.... but then I can. In the end they've created a terribly poor organisation and facilitated it wasting money The transfer committe rubbish the penny wise pound foolish spending. The development of anfield... half done? Will they ever do the rest?? I don't know the answers but I fear it's all about FFP in their heads and it really doesn't exist any more. I think lfc need new structures and new investment to get near top 4. Technical director... proper staff structures and a 60k stadium not 54 or 58k.... New training facilities.... Rebuild the team around klopp. Fsg don't have a clear vision for me. But they are good owners still... but if they keep going we will end up like villa in 5/10 years
Think it's hard to say much substantial from the outside... But would agree that any success will come from an organised structure with a clear philosophy behind it. They act as a proper conduit for FSG's funds. It is very bizarre how we broke the bank for Benteke (eg) but not others.... there must have been some influence from Rodgers etc that narrowed the parameters until we 'were' signing him and the only discussion was on price. They have shelled out a lot for squad level players... Moreno, Allen, Alberto, Aspas etc. That makes me think the money is there but can be spent better. Karius for eg has cost half of Mignolet. That's where the structure is so important.
Yes but do they have the structure and do they have the vision..... appointing klopp was a big statement.. now they must follow it with genuine hcange as ayre goes and someone strings up edwards by the gonads.... thye've built a stand.. they appointed a great manager... what do they do next....
That never happened football didn't exist. They rewrote history to win everything. The last 3 years never happened City dont exist.
No... Aubameyang joining city Bailly joining Utd. In short there's no trophy for 4th as spurs will find out next season. At least Leicester have a pot to shine.
