Me & a friend were discuss who is the has the best attacking header in football atm. I think Ronaldo and he said Carroll. After the conversation there wasn't many players either one of us could come up with. Who do you think is?
One of the best headed goals I've seen was the Portuguese twat though, against Juve in the CL it was like bowling the way he smashed through defenders.
Since signing for Arsenal I believe Giroud has the most headed goals in the league. So I'd put him forward as the Premier League candidate, whether he matches up against the best from the other leagues? Not sure.
Carroll! Why do people always say him? He scores about two goals a season. I say Joe Jordan. Pisses it. Or Gordon McQueen.
I'm not saying Ronaldo is the best around atm, but the first thing that came into my mind when I read the OP was this... The great thing about this goal is, Ronaldo isn't even in camera shot when Scholes plays the cross. Now THAT's what you call attacking
Definitely not Carroll, he's ****e majority of the time (disregarding his injury record). Gets the odd decent ones and everyone creams over it. It's like Agger and Vermalean (sp) having reputations for being a long distance goal scooters when they got one in a blue moon
Anyone who can do this is worth a shout Going back a few years, Alan Gilzean - a reference for the teenagers
In that Carroll vid, did anyone else notice how he did the majority of his head motion after the ball had left his nut? What a spaz!
That CR goal may have been the one I was taking about as it's very similar I was sure it was against Juve though, Man Utd fans?
Leo Ulloa is as good in the air as any current Prem player ... Andy Lockhead from my time watching Leicester.... Andy Gray Villa/Everton of opposing players .. Jeff Astle ...
I didn't think winning the golden boot was a prerequisite for being good at heading the ball but it's more of a concern you actually thought I was serious about those two being candidates.
