Assuming he was pushed, rather than walked - if that's the case, then from the outside it seems a very curious decision.

Anyone know why? I would guess he has been offered a position as someone's NO2, or perhaps more..

Good....no, GREAT club man. The way he bonded with young Oskar showed the character that made him the player and person he is.

I wish him well and hope it was his decision to better his career and not some ridiculous back room political move.

    Good luck Wade.

Like JGF states if it's to get someone from Barnsley into place it stinks, but reading LJ's comments I hope that ain't the case.

Wish Wade all the luck, if he's going somewhere else. But gutted if it was our decision to let him go though. As already commented a good professional and fantastic ambassador to the Oskar situation.

Maybe Wade wants to be a manager somewhere?

Good luck to him - has been a great asset to our club

Will be interesting to hear the logic behind this, assuming there is any.

If he has had a better offer and has left of his own accord then good luck to him.

But if he's been pushed then it's a shocking decision.

can only assume lj knows the staff he wants round him and hes not going to let sentiment stand in his way.

Very strange decision,Wade Elliott fantastic player for us.I hope he was not pushed but it looks like he was.

Always will get a good reception from the Ashton Gate crowd.

However he may have been offered a job elsewhere.

Everyone banging on about how great he would be for the U21's. Can't lie, loved him as a player but we have NO idea how competent he is as a coach. For all we know he could be rubbish!

it seems by the "speak" he was pushed out of the u21's
if this is the logic we will follow for next season then it is a likely recipe for disaster
the first year anyone does anything it is never the finished article, he will have learned a lot and probably planned out his stratedgy for next season

I hope it is not LJ getting cold feet and having staff ..that technically in their short time at the reins did better than SC and LJ! ...

Grumpy Mike is back. I just think that if anyone can mess up a situation better than us I would like to know who they are. Holding our collective breaths waiting for somebody to wake up down at Ashton Gate is like trying to cash in your return ticket on the Titanic. I don't believe it!
