Straight up mate, they're getting them on finance.

I heard about it, can't remember where exactly... £200 odd quid a month, for time (excuse the pun).

A watch on the chucky haha.

There's loads of half decent snides floating about, but a decent snide is still a snide.

When did fake stuff start costing more than £10? It's ridiculous.

I've seen watches going for £400, fakes... they look good, but fake. Then them Yeezy's trainers, £80-130 for FAKE trainers... my legit Nikes cost me £90!

Thing is with a snide, you always know it's snide, even if others don't realise.

It's like walking round with a fit bird who your mates think is sound, but you know has got meat and 2 veg strapping up her crevice <laugh>

Unless youve got money to burn i dont see the point in paying stupid money for a watch just to see what time it is. Id rather use the money for a holiday or something.

I agree with you in the main but it's also nice to have something you feel is a little special, that's how I feel. My watch was around 440 which is not too crazy but easily four times more than I spent in the past but I do love it. Love an Omega one day but can't justify that at all!!

Watches, the right ones, either retain their value or gain it.

People spend thousands on a car and lose thousands, that's the way I justified it to my lass at the time. Ha.

I must admit to a love of horology. Watches are something I've always been fascinated with.

You can buy a really good quality Swiss made automatic for around £500. The higher end brands are way more, but the majority hold their value and you'll always be able to recoup a decent percentage of your investment

Avoid fads and spending shed loads on the likes in an Apple Watch, instead invest in a good quality pre-owned quality automatic would be my advice
