Mexico vs Uruguay playing in Copa America (held in the USA) and they played Chile's anthem instead of Uruguay's... <doh>

That's one international incident that won't happen, should Trump get the presidency.
He won't let any of them across the border.

What do we think of this? I am currently torn between feeling admiration towards a woman who decided she couldn't be 'bought' and turned down the £1.2m to carry on and out the alleged poor practise at her employer, or wondering whether she should have taken the money and run. I wonder if she'll now get the Chelsea legal team pull her apart and have everything on her case down as 'hearsay' rather than evidence.

They are already outed and they are a club (do any club or large business care about these sort of things) that does not care about off the field matters that much. Their Captain was shown to say racist things on the pitch, was found guilty yet he continued as their captain.

Even though it can be spun as honourable I think it is more about the money than anything else. Unless of course she donates her winnings compensation to charity ;)

I think she should have taken the money....the rules are that if the court find in her favour but award a lower sum, she will be liable for costs on both sides. I think 1.2 mill plus everyone knowing she was in the right is perfectly adequate.

Mike Ashley is coming across as quite a decent chap in his select committee grilling. Very honest. No wonder Sports Direct have tried to keep him away from talking.

The committee seem to be a little bit subdued after expecting to be able to do their usual attack on whomever they have in front of them.

Oh dear. If you listen to BBC News at 1PM they are making it look a very different picture.

He didn't admit to paying below minimum wage. He accepted the committee saying that not paying for the time security held employees when they left being unpaid meant that they weren't paid for time making their pay below NMW.

He also didn't say that working practices were fine and nothing wrong with them. He basically took on board everything that they said and that it shouldn't be happening. He also said that it was a massive company and that it had outgrown him.

Hate the BBC when they mislead like this.

It's now been settled on "confidential terms".

Now that Manchester United have signed Bailly, I wonder where that leaves Morgan in the pecking order. Could Les persuade him to return to St Maryś prior to the appointment of a new manager as other clubs make signings without a manager being installed? Chelsea have done it in the past!!

Video's no longer available DTLW. You talking about Suarez throwing a strop when they got beaten by Venezuela and went out of the competition.? Gaston played.

    Ah, cack.

No, I was on about this goal from Bolivia, from 1-0 down against Chile.

Yeah, pretty impressive. Bit of a mirror image of Willian scoring Chelsea's solitary against Saints in last season's 3-1 whipping. :)
