Was having a look at the Coaches Cellino has sacked along the way, this one says it all if anyone believes Monk will be here this time next season... Giovanni Trapattoni (1995 - 1996): To convince the seven-time Serie A-winning manager to join Cagliari was heralded as a very shrewd appointment, but the working relationship between Trapattoni and Cellino never lived up to the high expectation levels. The former Juventus boss was fired for the first time in his 20-year career by Cellino after a string of bad results. Trapattoni's next job was at Bayern Munich, where he didn't show any ill effects of his time under Cellino by winning the Bundesliga in the next season. Difference being he was probably allowed to get on with it at Bayern and bring in his own signings...
Hey'up Ristac, with respects, First team affairs, as I see it covers everything and anything to do with first team, which includes choice of players to bring in however, like I mentioned, it remains to be seen. Any player targets before Monk signed may well still go through, it doesn't suggest Cellino will decide who comes and goes in any way as things were in transit before he signed. Personally, I'd bring back Adryan.
On the Adryan thing forget it. Read article today, can't find the link, but his career may be washed up. Current club not interested in signing him after his loan period. He's a show pony and that's all
Not so sure about him being a show pony Eire, and haven't found any link you mentioned; if Nantes don't sign him another club will pick him up. He's definitely got the skills we need in our midfield and was a good potential player for us, he's a natural attacking mid, my opinion of course. Apparently he likes to play on left of mid, it's his preferred position and has been doing alright as I read it. He does the passing through defences that we lack at moment, he was wasted and suppressed by Redders, only 21 though.
He s ****ing useless. Too lightweight and in the championship he was ripped apart..... Needs a sex change and to play in women's football.
Now I know you are just out to wind everyone up, and there was me wondering if you were being serious
Adrian reminds me of Denis Irwin, some skills but light weight, easy to push off the ball and will never make it in football.Ow hang on.
Defenders tend to get better with experience. Playmakers tend to start with a bang! Adryan was and will remain ****.
Our chairman( Jenkin's ) and Monk are attached at the arse and I can see Monk asking Jenkin's for good , fair loans from Swansea . Jenkin's will want Monk to do well so he can make himself look good for giving Monk a chance . Swansea loans ( more than 1 IMO ) will play for Leeds by the time the season starts . If we sign a left back , look for Kingsley to be one coming your way and he's a gooder .
If he is a left back he ain't getting a game at Leeds, Taylor was player of the season and from the leeds academy.
The interest in Makienok is symbolic of a greater problem as Cellino continues to take a hands on approach in the club’s transfer dealing, a systematic problem Monk will invariably have to deal with. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/le...rward-previously-flopped-in-the-championship/
Makienok is completely ****. His ****eness stood out in a team that was so poor it got relegated. Charlton fans have never had a good word to say about him. No way is monk the one scouting him..... Here we go again!
