whoever you vote for the government always gets in...

    I'd vote
    1) NW corner - then I can go back to E3 (when 'they' leave)
    2) East Stand Upper
    3) Melton Bottom

Sounds like an Allam name change poll where the options are 'Yes I like Hull Tigers' or 'Yes I approve of the name change' or 'No I don't like the existing name'

    Huh?
    In what way?
I thought it was very clear. Next season would you prefer the away fans where they are now or in Upper West

In what way is that like what you said?

I'm not sure about others, but I can't say I'd be in favour of either option. The question is too limited.

Of the two available options, Upper West.
But see earlier in the thread for where many/most would like to see them put.

Do you think you could do anything else before next season?

It wouldn't take much to shove them in the nw corner.

They'd be behind the goal, but we managed in the past, as do other clubs.

What would you do with anyone who had bought season passes (or whatever they're called nowadays) in that area already?

There can't be many, a lot binned it because it's ****, but I would invite them in, listen to them, and see how they felt about going back to the NE corner, or elsewhere in the ground and aim to limit the impact as much as I could. Giving groups the opportunity to stay together could soften the blow.

Not ideal, but less people affected than kicking out two thirds of upper west, and quite a few would possibly welcome it, especially if it was just a shift to a few seats further east in the north.

The only thing becoming clear from this thread is that evictions and the last moving of the away fans was a bad idea done badly.

What about the eventuality of the away fans outnumbering the home fans?
    Just a thought

We'd just learn from Middlesbrough's experience.

Have you thought of a way to stop those embarrassing swirls of rubbish blowing around on your pitch yet?

I don't think that is realistic given the timeframes (and the club's engagement skills!)
Personally I would leave away fans where they are for the forthcoming season, allow fans who have been moved out of UW to move back to their old seats, but then start engaging with fans to discuss where the away fans should be for the 17/18 season.
That would give more time to get it right, and minimise impact

That's why I'd leave them where they are for the season coming

I wouldn't altogether disagree, but that's not one of the options in the vote.

    True
But one of the options still allows that later

To me there are only two realistic options for next season, but that doesn't mean there aren't others after that

100% agree. A full lower bowl of City fans looks much better on the telly and stick their fans as far from the pitch as possible. Why are we helping the opposition by having their fans within eye and ear shot of their players?

This is one proposal the owners have got right.

I hear your manager Jimmy Karanka has been fitted with an electronic tag to stop the daft **** running away again.
