What's everyone having for tea?

I'm having griddled chicken fillets which I've bashed out like escalopes, red onion and tomato salad with mozzarella and butternut squash chips.

 

Scraps from the kids' fajitas. Out of date falafels. Vina Sol.

 

Falafels are lush. Especially round where my mate lives in the Jewish part of north London.

 

Lady Stan cooked these. She opened the packet, put them in the oven for 15 minutes and took them out 25 minutes later. Standard.

Did you not see the bit where I said "she opened the packet"? Lady Stan isn't much of a cook.

 

My lad is off to the Roses gig should be good. He also plays his first gig with his band this weekend in a local pub.

So I think you're about my age. If your lad is playing pub gigs then you must have been quite a young dad Luv.

 

I'm 44 this year, starting to feel older than I'm happy with.

 

Toying with the idea of a Wetherspoons steak night tea and a couple of ales, albeit I will be on my own.

Firstly though I must at least have a half arsed go at some form of exercise!!

 

Had Piri Piri chicken from Lidl last night whole spatchcock chicken in its own tray nice and easy and very good to be fair.
