No you're right that's true. I always thought the show had lost its way. Today I found myself enoying the same format... strange. Maybe it was Clarkson after all. He became bigger than the show. Despite Evans being a twat, the one thing right now that I like is that neither he nor Le Blanc are bigger than the show. In that sense I'm liking the programme again as it's not about the egos. The show also seemed busier today, there was lots going on and it was interesting and funny.
Ermmmmm.. dunno about that. Evans is certainly the ego. Look at the first race with 4x4. Evans sent off first... well ahead so as to not get passed Same in second race evans up first. Then a 15min interiew bit. For me joey is making it. A) he's the likeable on and playing games to it. B) he's doing the racing or fast driving and did so both episodes. C) he did very well on the intro bit too Overall the cinematography on the MClaren bit was Ace. The bit on the off road er last week was similar. They need more of that. If they roll out bangers again next week and have that awkwardness they will undoubtedly the good work. Just get more great cars and f1 drivers
Got Spoiler: Spoilers basically total filler, yes needed filler yes the hound is back, yes area bleeds like a stuck pig but total filler
Spoiler: Spoiler Thought it was a crap episode. Jon Snow is disappointing this season. Seems as though he lwft his balls at Castle Black. He's a shell of his former self - his heritage needs to be revealed to reignite his spark. Margery we all knew was playing along with the High Sparrow, Arya getting caught off guard yet she can beat her without her eyesight was daft. But my prediction of Sansa rallying the Vale for help seems to be coming true. They'll arrive just in time to save Jon and the Wildlings I think.
Spoiler: Spoiler deffo the Arya stuff was very badly done. Last episode she is hiding in the dark with needle.. next thing she's sauntering about like queen of braves booking passage and acting like she's naive and without a care in the world.... utter rubbish imo. Jon Snow... I don't know what it's about but there's a reason behind it to be revealed. After all they said you lose something and clearly he did. I accept going about collecting troops is needed but they made it pretty weak.. though I did predict it so I can't complain can I? The army bit was.. like why the **** have you brought the freys back if you are just going to make them weak and oaps that was poinot less.. how it helps the Jamie story 8 don't know.. next episode is clearly the real event there. We don't know where the raven went. I half suspect it's gone to blackfish not the Knights of the Vale Next episode the kings landing must come to a head. This is a pun.... no its episode 8. There's no more time for this now. Action time. High Sparrow must be dealt with one was or the other. Arya story but come to some resolution Episode 9 is the big battle and I'm sure 10 will be blondie sailing off with the grey joys and the wall story whatever that will be. There's too many balls in the air for it not to be a big episode. Arya Winterfell Bran the wall Kings landing River run where is Briene? the hound will be minor Meeren the sons of the harpy
Spoiler: Filler The entire season has been built like a filler except for a few episodes. They're banking their entire season on the battles at Kings Landing, Riverrun, Winterfeld and the big reveal about Jon Stargareyn and Dany imo arriving across the sea just as the Wildlings bring sown the wall. There's only a few episodes left so they should be filled with war and distruction.
Spoiler: Theon grey joy sister has a bigger cock than him There's filler and there's filler.... story progression is fine, blatent no point stuff is
Spoiler: Yara You can tell they don't know what to do with them until the end of the season. I'd rather them not show the Greyjoys until they reach Daenarys. What I'll say again is though, I didn't miss seeing her in this ep either. It's rime for the wars and itst aftermaths now though. Thought that Mormont girl was fierce though, only to have 62 soldiers haha
Spoiler: A feast for spoilers Don't know about all of you but I'm going to **** the tits off this one As has been said, this episode was total filler, but I enjoyed quite a bit of the acting and the visuals were stunning at times, Braavos, Riverrun looked amazing and there were some killer lines such as the above and Olenna's 'I think you might just be the worst person in the world' to Cersei. Good to see Margaery confirm she hasn't lost it by giving her the rose drawing as well The Hound getting his little bit of solitude and peace only to find carnage and murder again when Ian McShane's lot got put down was really well done and the Arya stabbing, well that was obviously coming due to how brazenly she was behaving in the market and was staged well, they made me think she was a goner for a couple of seconds. But yeah the overall storytelling is off there and bothers me, so she goes through all this intense training with a death cult where we see her become pretty much a ninja, decides she's had enough but doesn't realise they'll want shut of her and come looking for her for not fulfilling her duties and then doesn't have the skills to fend off an attack, naaaaaaaaaaaaah alright maybe the win against the waif when she was blind was a fluke or one off but you'd still expect her to be more canny than that First thought of a destination for Sansa's raven was Blackfish, this would mean he'd be forced into that battle, rather than his plan to hole up for 2 years, so he could fight it, hopefully survive and then get whatever forces he had left to help fight with Snow and the Wildlings. But Littlewanger is a good shout as well, have to wait and see there. I enjoyed Blackfish this episode though, his don't give a **** attitude is awesome, slit his throat if you want about Edmure, you're disappointing to Jaime. I hope he isn't killed off in the battle agains the Freys The stuff with the Greyjoys was alright, Theon pisses me off now yeah I get it he had a tewwible time in Ramsay's playroom but come on lad, dont't you want some revenge ? At least Yara was good fun, and a total clit craving lesbian, who knew !!
Watched It's a Free World over the weekend Ken Loach film bout a young woman who sets up a recruitment firm for migrant workers, very good
A Vanity Fair interview with director Jack Bender seems to confirm that theory. Asked whether The Door director would be returning for season seven, he answered: "I don’t know the answer to that. They’re only doing seven [episodes], and they’ve got their regulars who have done it forever." Obviously not official confirmation but supposed he'd know more than the man on the street.
Or the story is running low and they've already been commissioned for two more seasons And maybe because the young actors are starting to get Movie roles.
Only good thing about it is there'd be less space for filler episodes....each one to start tying up all the threads...
Surely less episodes would mean more money available for the final battle v white walkers or a final battle for the throne?
