With the love in between our clubs do you think we could pay you loads for Bertrand this Summer? It's about time we got a good player for the money we throw at you.

I think Bertrand would rather stay at a team that doesn't consistently bottle leads.

I'm not feeling the love! <laugh>

We are on the lookout for a LB with calamity Moreno in place but Chilwell and Cresswell seem to be the more likely targets. I've gone on about Bertrand for years though one of the best full backs in Europe the fact that Rose looks to be getting ahead of him for Englend is laughable.

I did try for you :)

I saw a pretty good left back play in Kelvin Davis' testimonial last month. I think his name was Dan Harding... HCDAJFY

We'd end up giving Eastleigh £20 million for him.

Bit of advice. He's not worth more than £10m. A cheeky bid of £8m may tempt them.

Wow. They taking the West Ham route and looking for players who are looking for an end of career deal? He's 29, and would be a really good way for Ronald to get off on the wrong foot, with the fans, if he is the potential replacement for Stones.
Go for it Ron. Bargain at £15m. Honest.

It was the £15m bit that got me too. Wow. Probably just paper talk though... sadly

And in the likelihood that they get that bid rejected, they can always go for Danny Fox.

I don't always understand this sort of comment. It's something that I'm guilty of so I know what you mean but both teams are playing in the Premiership so the level is the same in that respect. I don't think he was kept out of the Arse team by players who were significantly better.
I'd have him back here. Better than Clyne in my opinion (or at least the potential to be so).
