Yes, I've just finished watching it too and it was pretty good. Knowing what to expect helps a bit. Evans is still a wee bit too laser beam voice over the top, and Le Blanc is still perhaps a tad too quiet, but they balanced out much better this week. Thing is, I didn't miss the old three presenters for a millisecond. I even thought Eddie Jordan was fine, and looks like he doesn't mind too much being the butt of the jokes. I do like the on-that-bombshell running joke. Now for some bikes as well. Le Blanc's a proper biker, so I expect to see the odd serious sprinkling of them occasionally now there's no overbearing thug at the helm.
I just got home after seeing Springsteen and the E Street band. they were brilliant as always, and he said " he floated like a butterfly And stung like a Bee " then played Tougher than the rest!
Good man! Saw him in Coventry on Friday - totally amazing gig. The man's unstoppable - 4+ hours of constant rocking and great value for money. The Boss is the best and I'd go see him again in a heartbeat, even though I've seen him now 3 times in 4 years. The man knows how to please the crowd!!
4th time for me and my sister, 3Rd time for Mrs jasper. As you say, would go back tonight if I could. Talk about entertaining. They are on another scale! Not sure we will see Nils Loveren again, he looked very frail to me. Clarence must be proud of his nephew though.!
That was Clarence's nephew was it? Nice one. As for The Boss - 31 years since ths last time I saw him (also at Wembley). He's barely slowed down at all - you can't get him off the stage. What an act, what a pro, what a great guy.
Forgive me interjection and musical ignorance, but that's a great name, especially if you remove the 's' Nil Loveren
Now I may have this wrong, but the text says that Neymar watches Brazil with is mate Justin Bieber ... I bet the bloke on the other side is pissed he didn't get a mention (I may be wrong at who it looks like though)
Nils Lofgren - saw him last year on tour (with just one percussionist/keyboard player as back up) in Basingstoke last year. Brilliant concert and met him afterwards for a chat (and to sign stuff) and he looked ok then. He HAS got 2 new hips, though - which is why I find it amazing that he does that solo on "Because the Night" and throws himself around and around and around ........ incredible. I hope he doesn't retire - he's an awesome guitarist ..............
Oh that's good news then . Have not seen him for 3 years , so that probably explains it . Do you remember this ? Can you recommend a solo album to " Start me off " ?
I think this was the reason he ended up with 2 new hips!! He's different from Bruce - but I'd probably recommend "Acoustic Live" (if you're a fan of great guitar playing) or an early one like "Cry Tough" ......
But (almost) as good sax player as his uncle was ....... LOVE the way Bruce still does the tribute to the Big Man during E Street Shuffle. They must have been such good mates.
I agree , they seem a very close nit group & long may it continue . They also show the picture of Danny Federici .
Yes - which was also a great thing to do. Very tight knit - and seem to seriously enjoy what they're doing!
