... lots of different factors ...King Power are rich enough to structure sponsorship deals to compete with Liverpool or Citeh given their current stadium capacity .. just hint at plans for a future 50k stadium and factor in CL money and clever accountants can soon structure a 'business case' for such salaries... but we shouldn't be held to ransom ...as much as we love Vards there are better forwards out there and Claudio will find them with that scouting network under him ..
Rumours are that Vardy has had a medical and is going to sign tonight for £22M - Fleetwood will get £5M from the transfer. Kante will also join PSG after agreeing terms. Oh well - so long and thanks for all the fish.
We'll never top last year anyway. Only shame is a felt we stood a chance of a good CL run being top seeded and with that group of players
http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36456096 Vardy is still deciding if he wants to go or stay and we have offered better terms
But have we? The two clubs have agreed a deal apparently. Dangerous precedent if do increase his wages.
Shouldn't be about money now. He was going on about this band of brothers scenario, so if he is the first to jump ship for the cash he'll show himself up for what he is. Wonder how the movie will portray this?
The club asked Vardy to delay the transfer and consider an offer to stay which he agreed The club are now putting together a deal to keep him at the club https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.mi...ardy-urged-wait-24-8120108.amp?client=safari# Its a 50-50 according to the media
We are in for him irregardless as he and Vardy play in different positions - he is a #10 in the mold of Okazaki rather then a #9 like Vardy.
Would like to think he'd take a year of guaranteed champions league games rather than goto Arsenal and maybe get 10 mins when hes subbed on for Welbeck in the 80th minute. Still be surprised if he was to go, given that the club supported him though the time he almost quit football completely and seems to have had nothing but backing from the owners, then i guess the title may feel like a debt repaid.
I'll be disappointed in Vardy if he opts to move to Arsenal. Leaving the side where you've just won the title and with CL football next season to look forward to, just why?
Arsenal fans in meltdown. In their words 'who does he think he is', 'it's the logical and easy decision to come to us' and 'it should be a 5 minute decision'. Who do they think they are the arrogant ****ers! I hate Arsenal with a passion, dirty little non-club
I'll update the no update, update to no update And confirmed by BBC. ... Jamie Vardy: England striker yet to decide on Leicester or Arsenal - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36456096
