yeah, bit of a cheat imo. like... i know why.. now the earth 2 version of wells goes home and the our evil version comes back... ffs... like do they delete vibe? do they bring back daddy and intro mommy.. does it all change or nothing change do it once fine.. same ending two season running... hmmmm
I thought Top Gear was better than people have made out tbh. It was still ****e (mainly because there was no charisma) but there is room for improvement. The biggest issue for me was their blatant attempt at copying the previous format
yeah honestly that is the case.. the segments were not awful.. ok the reliant was was dull... and the shouting and then dull voice overs were awful but... well.. its wasn't disasterous, just too close to the best version of top gear evans half tried tfi friday then didnt..
Is true about top gear, peeps are just wanting to bitch because they've either got a pro-clarkson agenda, an anti-evans agenda or enjoy watching a car crash to use a pun, all of them want it to fail in spite of the evidence that was on the tv screen. It still wasn't great, couple of segments were terrible, but it was far from disastrous as a lot are trying to make out and actually seemed to build up a bit of a head of steam as it went along, sort of 6/10 territory, I imagine it will remain fairly steady in the ratings and there are things to build on. People just don't like change and are resistant to new things It was a tough decision for them I guess. If they changed the format and presenting line up at the same time then they totally isolate loyal followers and potentially haemorrhage audience, if they change the presenters and keep the same format then they get the criticism that they're hanging on coat tails, not showing any creativity, that has been thrown at them this week
I would breast stroke over hot coals to get to Olivia Wilde....watching **** film..The Change Up...but sweet jesusy..
Watched a terrible film with Mrs and Princess luv, some thriller with a guy from Camp Rock, yes that is a real thing I'm not googling though as I'm frightened of the results. Film was called Be Careful What You Wish For, very simple and quite dull 6/10
Yes....much better than the Fault in our Stars film I was forced to watch. Stark, realistic but uplifting...
Top gear on..... Spoiler: Just in case basically 50 times better, Evans still shouty and guest slot hours long, dragged badly... but the first segment on mcclaren with button was excellent, south Africa bit wasn't great. In fact I'd say it didn't flow at all I think the main bit is the guest segment is about 15 mins long at least and it's too long. Button trashed the MClaren. .. They went to sa... then put stars in cars then took them out immediately which made no sense then raced where Evans was kept out of a tin then they went off road driven by stars and then did a drinks challenge which Evans and Jordan cheated on. .. is this the thing now... the bit didn't work wel Star in rally cross car way too long, no interest in it at all. Damien Lewis in... good, Jordan, spitari, sea sick Steve. Too many guests Deffo bit at start with mcclaren was very very good. Second part of sa will be shorter...there's zero banter or messing between them.joey still on the voice over. And utter dull.. catching animals in reversing camera... like the top gear joke is they ain't Attenborough. .. this was oh look at the pretty animals. Eddie jordan wreaking a new Mercedes-Benz 4x4 was mildly funny Edit, race at end let loose a bit. Good camera work, stars looked scared, really don't know how dangerous it actually was
Have to say that was bloody brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed that Top Gear episode. Makes you wonder why the **** they didn't start with that as the first episode
That bit with Button was ****ing funny as, proper death metal **** from Button, Evans' face ****ting himself about to puke and have a massive heart attack all at the same time Liked how they took the piss out of the abuse they got all week before that as well
Without doubt. Look there's still issues. The first part of the South Africa bit didn't work, it only came alive when they faux raced up the mountain. Trust me you put sharlene in the driver's seat then there is no danger there. The first part was by far the best part. Button really helped it. Evans hitting 200 and saying it was fastest he ever went was... odd.. given how many ferrari he owns. The only gripe I had was the length of the interview segment. It's 15 mins? That's too long about crap.. who cares what car they owned. 3/4 people up there is too many. It's not graham Norton or tfi Friday.
I would go straight to the second. I have to say I enjoyed all of the second episode. I thought the interview, the South Africa challenge with the mix of characters they chose, all was highly entertaining. I can also see that the two of them are a little bit more comfortable which bodes well for the future if they continue to develop in their roles. I suppose all I can say is that I'll be watching it again next week, which is a big plus.
I just felt the interview was dull. Seaside steve tells a story. Damien Lewis baby mentions the new show and is on about bond.. and so forth and so on.. it just went.. hmm hang on after 5 mins.. when are they doing the rally cross.. after 10 mins s it's.. come on already yawn. I deffo felt the first MClaren segment was really well done. I felt the south African could have been better. They got into cars brought in celebs then told them to get out 10 seconds later. Should have sequenced it better. For me the thing never got going until they did the end race. The bit right at the start was good. Bit of fun that.
