Leicester away to stay up in the old 2nd division...it was a day of drama and carnage on and off the pitch....plus Milan away was a belter...

I spent 3 years plus working for an agency travelling all over the UK, I was working in Oxford at Balliol College and had stopped in to a pub after work to watch the match on my way back to my pit, it must have been the only pub in the south of England that had Everton fans in, can only say that when Shearer hit that volley it was just sheer bliss.

As the Ponytail said there are too many to pick one.

Watching Gazza, watching Beardsley, watching Ginola, watching Tony Green, watching Supermac, watching Shearer and the list could easily go on.

Match wise Barcelona 3-2, Arsenal 4-4, 5under1and 5-1, Keegan v QPR, Shearer's home debut, Shearer's scoring his 200th, Feyernord 4-0, Ujpest Doza 3-0 Benfica away and the list could easily go on.

    Loads to pick from......

Top of the lot for me..
League Cup Semi-Final in 1976 v Spurs at SJP
More recently v Crystal Palace on 22/03/14, an innocuous and irrelevant game, but I see every game as a bonus....

Without a doubt. Match of the day starting without the introduction. 1974 West Brom away. They didn't play the theme music, just panned round the ground. 20000 Geordies singing "Howay the lads".

    I was there. Magical day.

We were the first team to ever come back from losing the first 3 group games to qualify.

Two stand out ones for me.

Barcelona, when Tino was just out of this world. I got so excited and was high as a kite that I had to take the next day off work.

And of course demolishing the Mancs 5 - 0. I called into the local Toon friendly pub on my own to watch it. Every time we scored this absolute giant of a bloke next to me kept leaping up and giving me a bear hug. Absolute quality.............. and no, we never kept in touch!!

A few but the Barca game high up. For sheer exploding excitement in the moment the late champions league qualifying round winner by Ketsbaia was some moment too
