This game has served as nothing more than getting some game time. Players get a decent run out before the real stuff begins.

They have been poor valley for the last 7 or 8 games, Even though I am not a big international fane, the form has been poor and they will all need to improve to play their part in this competition.

Agree. We've struggled since the Belgium win.

Even though they battered us, that was a superb team performance, but spot on it has gone downhill since then.

I honestly think you will need to beat Russia to qualify from the group, and that doesn't look likely.

I cant argue with that, but the way England played the other night you may struggle to beat them.

We are still beating what's put in front of us, even though we haven't moved out of 2nd gear and the players aren't playing at 100% at this point.

They've just been easily disposed of by Sweden <laugh>

I don't know whether England when they go to these tournaments are actually capable of getting out of second gear as you say. I suppose in the last world cup it was the same then, just not playing at 100%. Your record on qualification is superb and cant be faulted, but as per usual everyone over the border is getting ahead of themselves and believing their own hype yet again, only to take a massive fall when you get to the tournaments.

the media and the fans need to stop building them up so much, prior to tournaments and maybe then they wont underachieve.

Tbh Trunds, I honestly believe that if England pick their form players and not pick certain individuals to compensate Rooney, Sterling and Wiltshire they could go very far. Let's be honest, in Vardy, Kane, Rashford and Sturridge (if fit) they have the best fire power going into the Euros.

Good thing that Roy will play Rooney instead :)

I'm not. Like most people, I know, I think realistically we will get to the quarter finals, hoping we do go all of the way because we undoubtedly have the players to win the tournament.

And that is not bigging them up,' We have the players to win the tournament' so really you think you are going to win it then, despite saying that it is a quarter final. I hope England do well, but unfortunately, they qualify well and are then piss poor when it comes to the actual tournament.

We do have the players capable of winning the tournment. We are 4th favourites to win the tournament.

I suppose you are right, every team has the players who can win the tournament, every tournament you go to you are 4th/5th favourites and what normally happens, glorious failure.

To be honest you have a very good squad this time as long as he doesn't play players out of position to accommodate others, But for as good as your squad is, I think France, Germany (and yes you did beat them in a friendly), Spain and Italy will all be way ahead of England. But you never know this may be the one time since 66 that England turn up.
