they've been a bit rudderless for a while, but they'll be back. just as well as the dutch birds love their footie, and they'll be sorrly missed at the Euros! Having spent 4 days there last week ( Adam and Rotterdam) , you get to see loads of stunners just ambling round on a bike, drinking beers at the occasional watering hole. Yum, yum.
I would keep him. He's young, pacy and getting better at his defensive duties. With a change of tactics in certain games where we could play a 3-5-2 him in Yeds as wide midfielders could bomb forward and get crosses in.
At the beginning of the season, I would have packed his bags and drove him back to Chelsea, however, since the arrival of BSA he seems to have come on leaps and bounds. I don't think we have seen the best of him yet but believe he will be one of our major assets next season as long as we sign someone who can play left side up front or midfield, which will allow him the opportunity to create a good link up partnership.

If we're going to continue playing Kirchhoff sitting in front of the centre backs (and why wouldn't we? He's exceptional there) we need full backs who are going to get forward. Van Aanholt is good at what he does and is getting better. He's one of the players we need to be keeping hold of. I spent quite a bit of time in Holland as a kid and the Dutch are always my second team at international tournaments so I'm gutted that they won't be there this summer

Constantly improving, battler, pacey and loves the club. Yeah he needs to improve more defensively but he's markedly doing so, no part of me says we should let him go.
